Always great to see hanging at the cafe. He’s been an integral part of us being able to open our Blawnox location. He built our bar, shelves, and pretty much everything else made of wood. He also helped us put up our ceiling tiles, and has given us not only his professional talents, but his friendship, goofy jokes, and gentle giving soul.

We appreciate you, Cory. All love.

We had a blast at our first Cosplay + Coffee meet up, thanks to , who debuted her Black Canary Cosplay, and every cosplayer who battled the heat to spend some time with us!

We’re always excited to welcome new groups into the space to help build the community in a positive way. We’re excited to see how this event builds and hope to see more cosplayers and customers in the near future.

Our next Cosplay + Coffee event will be in October, stay tuned for dates and new drink specials!

We want to introduce our Black Canary variant logo! It’s a nod to our inspiration for the cafe, the DC superhero, The Black Canary. This will not replace our classic logo, but will add some flair to our current visuals.

We will be dropping variant logo tumblers, coffee mugs, t shirts, keychains, and stickers in March. If you would like to pre order any items, please message us!

Everyone meet Kathie, a regular at our Blawnox shop! She’s a women’s fiction author with over 20 books published. How cool is that?!
She started drinking coffee in college, using it more as a tool to get through the day. She would drink it black because she knew no matter where she went, she could get it that way.
Nowadays, she enjoys coffee alongside her husband most mornings and occasionally amongst her daughter and friends. Her belief is that the connection that coffee brings is what it’s all about…and we couldn’t agree more!
Her go to at the shop is an Americano with whipped cream or a cappuccino. We’re so happy to know Kathie and truly enjoy her presence. We’ll see you all again soon, at the counter. ✨

Making your mornings just a little bit easier ✨

Our Cherrybomb Espresso Float is the perfect refreshing drink for warmer temps (like we’re suppose to have for the next few days)
•Cherry Sparkling Water, Vanilla Syrup, Espresso, and Half + Half doin their thang beautifully together. A must try! ✨

Kwadwo is a regular at our Blawnox shop, however, he didn’t always drink coffee. During his time in the Marine Corps, he recalls getting the task to make coffee one morning and was instructed on how many scoops to put in the batch, but as a joke, he decided to make each scoop more of a “heaping” scoop and overdid it. Needless to say, he was told to never make coffee like that again, as it was too much and they could barely drink it. Once Kwadwo left the military and moved to Pittsburgh, he began drinking coffee at Curbside ( hey Kylee!) and starting making it a part of his daily life. An experience he will never forget was when he visited a coffee farm in Hawaii and got to learn a lot about coffee + experience what Kona coffee is. His go to order is a simple black coffee and prefers medium to dark roasts. Thanks for being a regular Kwadwo. We’ll see you soon, at the counter! ✨
