We are excited to announce our 8th Annual Alzheimer’s (and other dementia) Fundraiser will be August 17th at The SandBar. This is a huge event that grows every year and takes a lot of planning along with a committee of volunteers to make this event successful. We are looking for more committee members to join our team! If you are interested in being a part of the committee please reach out to Sheena Harings for more details. Please help us reach our goal of $20,000 for a cause so near and dear to so many! The best part of this fundraiser is 100% of the proceeds go to the Alzheimer’s Association and is also used locally for education and dementia support groups!

Absolutely unbelievable that we raised $18,745 total! We were able to raise $7,065 prior to fundraiser day through sponsorships, personal fundraising and Sunnydaze sale! A huge thank you to all of the committee members who have been busy helping plan this event since March. There is so much that goes into the planning and organizing and I truly couldn't do it without so much help! We are all blessed with such a tremendous community and support. Thank you so much to everyone who made it out to the event; it was great to see all of you! A big thank you to the SandBar and Grill for hosting the event for us and for all of the work they put into the event. We are looking for a Resident Care Assistant who is compassionate, caring and kind with an affinity for helping people. A successful candidate will work with patients in an active role on a daily basis, including providing care and support for residents and helping to ensure that our residents are provided with the highest level of care possible. We are a smaller assisted living facility caring for the elderly/memory care giving personalized care to each resident. Quality of care is our number one priority and we are looking for more great caregivers to join our team! We are hiring for the AM and PM shift. $250 sign on bonus and pay raise after 90 days! Full dental and vision paid by company.

Macy, our resident cat went to heaven today. She was such a big part of Aggie’s…she touched so many of the residents in so many ways. Macy lived a great 15 years and we will all miss her dearly. Until we meet again 🐾
