BIG thanks to all our trunk hosts, Roselle Police Department for keeping our trunk or treaters safe coming and going, the Roselle Fire Department for joining us and the Roselle American Legion Post 1084 for allowing us to host our Trunk or Treat event at the Post! We had great weather and saw over a thousand happy smiling faces. Congratulations to Anthony DeGrado from State Farm for winning best trunk! We have 41 confirmed trunks for our upcoming Trunk or Treat event at the Roselle American Legion Post 1084, Saturday October 26th between 12-3PM. B&B Balloons graciously donated their time and talent and donated these beautiful centerpieces for our fundraiser this past weekend. The latex balloons are tired, but the Mylar balloons are in great shape and I would love to see them used again. Is anyone having a party this weekend who could use some extra cute decor? For the green thumbs who are attending tomorrow night, this raffle prize contains a house plant, “beautiful day” mug, gardening gloves, watering can, plant spritzer, and grow your own tins of pansy and chamomile!

Dinner is on Katie Smith, Real Estate Broker & Senior Living Advisor! In this raffle prize, you can enjoy a meal including; linguine, Rao’s marinara, bottles of Oktoberfest and Petite Sirah from Lynfred Winery, two wine glasses, olive oil, heart-shaped cheese cutting board, wine charms, and cute little olive oil dishes. There is also a $20 GC to Chicago Pastry for dessert!

Fall is quickly approaching and I am seeing a hint of color on those leaves. You know what would be great for one lucky player at tomorrow’s fundraiser? 25 yard waste stickers ($75 value), that’s what. Very excited for this next raffle prize… Roselle Police Department donated their first ever lunch with the Roselle Police Chief certificate! One Lucky child meet with Chief Barreto, receive a tour of the police department and have a special McDonald’s lunch! There is a fleece basket, along with some PD swag for one lucky kiddo. Thank you Chief Barreto and Community Service Officer Maria Reyes for making this one happen. 😉

We received a TRIO of awesomeness from Cooper's Hawk Winery & Restaurant!! We are incredibly grateful. BIG thanks to Dist 12 Superintendent Mary Henderson for securing these! These are valued at $250 each!!

We had such a successful Trunk-or-Treat today! BIG thank you to all the businesses and organizations who participated, volunteers for their hard work running the event, and to the trick or treaters who came in some AMAZING costumes! We were lucky to have the Roselle Police Department keeping us all safe during the event. We even got a special visit from the Roselle Fire Department! The Roselle American Legion is always very generous, allowing us to host the event safely there every year. Congratulations to the most tricked out trunk, Bloomingdale Bank & Trust! We are looking forward to the event again next year. Have a Happy Halloween everyone!
