Beta Theta finishes off the pre-playoff soccer season with a 3-1 W over Pi Lambda, officially winning our division.
See you at playoffs 🤫
Beta Theta continues to contribute to our local community through volunteer work. Yesterday morning, many brothers attended an event for Generosity Feeds, a local non-profit that helps to assist in providing meals to underprivileged children across America. Activities included making, sorting, and packing meals to ship to communities within Bloomington and beyond.
Beta Theta takes home the first W of the intramural season with a 54-48 win.
Show out to our next flag football game tonight at 10:15 at the Rec Sports Field Complex next to Foster and support the guys!
Beta Theta has returned to the pitch.
It’s time for a TAΚΣOVER.
BROTHER OF THE WEEK
This weeks brother of the week is Will Hasbrook. Will is a member of the philanthropy committee and has been actively putting in individual brothers hours into the national database. His dedication to his position and others is recognized by us all.
Congrats, Will!
Last week the brothers of Beta Theta attended multiple workshops to further our knowledge of Kappa Sigma and the Four Pillars. We would like to thank Brother Boe, Brother Wilson, and Brother Brinkmeyer (not pictured) for their fantastic presentations.
The Stephen Alonzo Jackson Weekend of Giving has arrived! Use the link in our bio or visit https://donate.sajgiving.com/ to donate to our Chapter Scholarship Fund.
100% of donations will be used as scholarships to undergraduates of the Beta-Theta chapter.
Over the past weekend, our Brothers engaged in a whirlwind of philanthropic activities, which included wildlife care, baking brownies for the homeless, volunteering at a soup kitchen, creating handwritten letters to veterans, and much more.
We are immensely proud of our Brothers for completing over 1000 hours of community service and are thrilled to continue our efforts in assisting our community in the future.
The members of the Kappa Sigma Beta-Theta colony would like to formally congratulate Alex Cooper on his achievement of being chosen as Brother of the Month. Alex has achieved this honor by completing over *90* hours of community service in and around the Bloomington area, as well as encouraging other members to join him in service.
These achievement has triumphed over all others for the month of February and has demonstrated how true dedication to service plays such a key role in the pillars of Kappa Sigma.
Congratulations,
Alex!
BROTHER OF THE WEEK
This week we are recognizing 2 brothers for co- brother of the week. Both Andrew and Lowell have been leading information nights in order to reach out and spread the word of Kappa Sigma to as many IU students as possible. Their efforts have been rewarded with the addition of quality men to the spring ‘23 pledge class.
Congratulations!
