Happy Wednesday! Not only are we thrilled to be halfway through the work week, but Bloomington Church of Christ is pumped to share with you a new weekly social media tradition: Worship Wednesday with BCOC!
Every Wednesday, we'll share a new worship song we're jamming to, with a link to the song on YouTube included. We would love for you to listen along and share how the song has encouraged you and impacted your heart!
For this week's Worship Wednesday, we want to share with you a song called "Make Room" by The Church Will Sing feat. Elyssa Smith. We love how the song expresses the desire to surrender to God's will and abandon our own ambitions by clearing our lives of anything that takes our focus away from Him, "making room" for Him to do whatever He wants to.

This Sunday, January 14, we have a slight change of plans due to the extreme cold.
We will have an in-person worship service at 10 AM for whomever feels comfortable with being out in the frigid weather.
For those who do not feel comfortable going out, we will have a livestream of the service available on YouTube!
Whether you decide to join us in-person or via livestream, the service will be a simple family service, with kids and adults together.
We will start the service with a couple pre-recorded songs, followed by a time for prayer, communion, and God's word.
Whatever you decide to do, please stay safe, everyone! We will look forward to joining together in fellowship next weekend, God willing.

During our women's fellowship last night, we compared the new year, 2024, to a puzzle that God is helping us build. When we start with the "four corners" of our puzzle, we're reminded that God is our Creator and Redeemer, as stated in Isaiah 43:1.
What a beautiful reminder that the One who formed the universe counts the numbers of hair on our heads, who listens to our every prayers, and blesses us with only His best when we are faithful in our walk with Him.

Happy Sunday, friends! Bloomington Church of Christ is ready for 2024 and all its many blessings! We are so excited for another year of walking with the Lord and of fellowship with one another.

Hello everyone! This Sunday 9/24 we will meet at 10:30 a.m. in Springfield for worship and fellowship with the churches in Champaign and Springfield.
