Babylights around the face to create a soft halo effect. A few more throughout to break up her natural color. And everything else got a fresh copper rose glaze.

When told me she was ready to move on from her signature platinum blonde hair... I was surprised, but super excited.

Creating a low maintenance look for someone after years of high maintenance is rewarding for me in not only the challenge of it, but in having the tools to make it look like it has *always* looked that way.

There were 3 formulas involved, all using demi permanent

Base: 6N+7NB equal parts for gray blending that will grow out soft and pretty.

Lowlight: 7NB+8GB equal parts

Toner: 9GB+clear

I promise, there's a copper/red tone for *everyone*.

For , strawberry blonde gives the fall pop, but allows her to go back to blonde easily (I know her habits 😉)

Oh, and peep the chunky blonde accent pieces up front!

came in with a beautiful icy fade out from nearly 2 months ago... folks were still complimenting it! In fact, my friend asked (and I quote) "Why are you gonna *bleeeep* that up?!"

But the beauty of a clean white canvas means I can add rich colors and then we can all enjoy the pastels that appear with the fade out. Win win in my book!

This is someone who absolutely should have been born a redhead. Every shade, light or dark, is so flattering on her.

This time, I darkened it up a bit using demi permanent:

2 parts 5RB and 1 part 7cc
melted into
1 psrt 5RB and 1 part 9cc

(this was applied on top of a lighter red and highlighted base)

came into play with developers (No Lift and Accent)

I also utilized 1, 2, 4, 5, 6, 7, and Volumizing Blow Dry Mist

Strawberry blonde just hits different, amirite?

A mix of demi permanent golds, coppers, and beiges on previously *very* blonde hair (make sure to check out the before). A refresh on the base with their permanent color.

as always for developers and Scalp Eze for a little buffer in that permanent, on the scalp color ♡

1 and 2 and 4-in-1 gave this hair the lovin it needed.

Finished with Kenra and Olaplex stylers.

So many processes, but dimensional hair isn't a one step process.

For this one, I applied the base color first and foiled in some fresh highlights.

She's been doing this color for awhile and it is super low maintenance, requiring highlights only once or twice a year.

Once that processed, a color melt of 3 different tones.

This time, though, I stuck to oxidative color. It fades out to a more natural tone than direct dye and is a lot more low maintenance.

Spooky season is upon us and today, I got to create some Halloween hair for .illusions !

There's just something about purple hair 💜💜💜 and this one in particular makes me think of a big ol juicy blackberry!

The starting canvas was grown out highlights and lowlights.

Created a money piece™️ with and to blend in the existing highlights.
Then blended in some wisdom sparkles with demi permanent 😘

N°1 added to each formula and 4C used to cleanse the hair to prep for the purple.

Using and a dollop of , I saturated all of her hair to tie everything in together. I add N°1 to my intensities also, for some extra lovin!

Finished with Olaplex N°6, Volumizing Blow Dry Mist, and Kenra Color Maintenace Themal Spray
