Can Crowdsourcing Rescue the Social Marketplace of Ideas?
Luddy Distinguished Professor of Informatics and Computer Science Filippo Menczer remains at the international forefront of addressing social media concerns. He has co-authored a paper detailing the ground-breaking study that examines community-based social media moderation. It appears in the September issue of Communications of the ACM, the worldβs top magazine in computing.

More than three decades ago, Professor Emeritus Andy Hanson first dreamed of the concept for Luddy's new Calabi-Yau sculpture, which was unveiled yesterday on Luddy Hall's east lawn.
