Exciting news!

We are excited to announce a new class in collaboration with Amy Filter, MSN, RN, founder of This Little Light Breathwork! This 4 week class will be held on Thursdays at INtegRIty's conference center from 5:30PM-7:00PM, and will run July 25th through August 15th. The first session will be an educational session focused on the practice and efficacy of conscious connected breathwork, with a brief breathwork session at the end. Participants are urged to bring their own pillow and/or blanket for their comfort. We are asking for a $10 donation with all proceeds benefiting INtegRIty. On Saturday, folks from FCC participated in the McLean County Relay for Life, in support of those impacted by cancer. Together we raised $3,660!

The latest addition to our Micah 6:8 library is Silas on Sundays by local author Joel Shoemaker, who was in Bloomington this weekend for a book launch & signing. The story is about a gender-nonconforming child named Silas who lives out each day of the week using their imagination to be a builder, actor, ballerina, or quarterback at home but on Sundays they have tough time wanting to go to church so they come up with a plan to stay home instead.

There are just a few days left to register for JYF Camp at Camp Walter Scott. This camp is for those who have completed grades 3-5. Registrations are also still being accepted for Chi-Rho Camp (for those who have completed grades 6-8).

First Christian Church's Helping Shelf is the recipient of a $1500 grant from the Illinois Prairie Community Foundation! This will help us continue providing a space where neighbors can obtain (or share) food and other essential items.
