Cincinnati Galaxy Black - Team Smith

From the hard work starting in the fall through the winter workouts and games through spring and summer is coaches had a blast with this group of kids.

We couldn’t have been happier with how everything went and hopefully someday we can have this group back together!

Good luck to everyone in all they’re doing this upcoming season!

That brings the 8U Cincinnati Galaxy season to an end, we had lots of fun and closed it out with a second place in the SWOL silver championship.

And the Galaxy boys are headed to the SWOL silver championship! Here we go!

Onto the next one, the boys come through in the bottom of the fifth to complete the comeback and walk off!

Also, HUGE shoutout to Ian who came out today and hit for the cycle! 4-4 1B, 2B, 3B, & HR with 2 runs scored and 6 RBIs!

The boys came out ready to play baseball today! Won both pool play games by a combined score of 29-2 and secured the 1 seed for bracket play!

Onto tomorrow, 3 games for it all!

I want to highlight our pitching for the last three games of the tournament once again.

Combined Leo, Jackson, Armando, and Ian had the stats below:

15 IP, 5 hits, 1 RA, 15BB, 39 Ks

Onto the championship for the Galaxy boys!

Led by our start Ian who pitched GREAT today (4 IP, 3 hits, 10 Ks, 2BB) we got our second shutout in a row!

Championship game is at 3pm today.

Started a little rough today but finished out game two with a 1 hit pitching gem by Leo and then closed out by Armando who is helping us out this weekend!

Game day! The boys play at 11 & 3 today in the Diamond elite Memorial Day tournament!

Not the result we wanted for our Saturday, played two close games. Didn’t work out with runners on base.

Game day! The boys play at 9 & 1115 at Warren County Sports Park, come out and support them!

Unfortunately the rain stopped us from playing again today. The boys will be back in action Saturday morning to start the Crush Classic tournament at Warren County Sports Park!

The boys came out ready to play today and played a very good game! 1-0 on the day with the second game getting rained out partially through it.

Well, the overnight and morning storms were enough to cancel everything for our tournament today.

The boys will be back in action Wednesday against Loveland in a non league game.

Tough game today and came out with a tie to end pool play. We play tomorrow at noon to start bracket play, let’s string some wins together!

GAME DAY! We kick off the MVP May Slugfest tonight!

Tough fought battle but we came up short against a very tough Midland team tonight.

Back on the field Friday for the MVP May Slugfest!

Unfortunately Mother Nature did not let us finish our game today so we will have to reschedule and finish the game at another date.
