Coastal Wrestling Academy

Hello all!

Welcome and thank you for checking out our new page. I'm pleased to announce the opening of the Coastal Wrestling Academy (CWA).

Our mission of the Coastal Wrestling Academy is to introduce area youths to the sport of wrestling. A positive teaching approach will be utilized to help students learn basic moves and techniques of the sport which will also help build self confidence in each individual. Athletes will be introduced to the "team concept". Rules of "scholastic style wrestling" will be taught with a heavy emphasis on sportsmanship and fair play. The goal is for each child to gain a solid foundation for continued growth toward the varsity level.

Wrestlers can expect:

-Knowledgeable staff with emphasis on teaching
-Safe and clean learning environment
-Positive reinforcement
-Team First attitude
-Physical activity
-Lots of fun!

The academy will be located at Riptide MMA in Bluffton,Sc but will have no affiliation with their program, we do emphasize our wrestlers to be participate in Riptide Mma programs as we feel will be very beneficial in molding our young athletes not only on the mat but in the real world.
