Puff pastry Cheese Sticks are very popular in Colombia. We have them for breakfast, supper, snacks, birthday parties and basically just no special reason at all.

They are made with cheese, but not just any cheese. Costeño Cheese is a dairy product from the Colombian Caribbean Coast. It is fresh, soft and salty.

The cheese is then carefully wrapped in a delicious puff pastry dough. It’s baked at 350•F for 40 minutes till golden perfection. 😍

Tip: you can bake the cheese sticks and the guava pastries and you’ve got yourself another sweet combo of sweet and salty.

Guava paste or Bocadillo Veleño is a traditional confection made with guava pulp and sugar. The Town of Velez in the department of Santander in Colombia, is a major centre of production hence giving it its name “Bocadillo Veleño”

The box has 15 frozen guava pastries. Bake them for 45 minutes at 350 degrees and you’ve got yourself a delicious snack or meal.
