I've had a couple new people start following me so I thought I'd reintroduce myself.
My name is Melanie! I was born in Los Angeles, CA but moved to Charlotte, NC very young. I am Half Mexican and Half Honduran 🇲🇽🇭🇳. I knew wanted to be in the beauty industry at a young age. I often watched YouTube videos about makeup and practice on my friends and family as I got older, and eventually I began experimenting with hair coloring and bleaching at the age of 16. I never had 'normal' hair after that. 💗
When I'm not behind the chair I'm enjoying live music at any concert, enjoying new foods and restaurants, exploring the city with my girlfriends, or watching The Office and cuddling with my two cats, Mochi and Momo. 🐈⬛
I started Beauty School at in 2018 and hustled my butt off to finish strong! I finished first in my class and graduated from the Phase II program with my bestie 💕
I opened up 'Blessed By Mel' in October 2022. I started off in a small room with a handful amount of clients. Although it was SO nerve wrecking to take my next step in my career, I would never look back. I am so grateful for the tremendous amount of support from all of my clients, friends and family that I've gotten over the past 2 years.❣️
