🕯️✨ Create Your Own Shabbat Box!

Get your kids excited for Shabbat with this fun and creative project: making a Shabbat Box! A Shabbat Box is a special place to store all the important items for welcoming Shabbat. Here’s how you can make one with your kids:

Materials Needed:
A small wooden or cardboard box
Paints and brushes
Stickers and decorative items
Markers
Glue

Steps:
Paint the Box: Start by painting the outside of your box in your favorite colors. You can use blue and white for a traditional Jewish feel, or any colors that you love.

Decorate: Once the paint is dry, decorate your box with stickers, glitter, or any decorative items you like. Use markers to add drawings or write “Shabbat” in Hebrew (שבת) on the box.

Personalize: Add your name or family name to make it uniquely yours!

Fill Your Box: Place Shabbat items inside your box, such as:
Candles
Kiddush cup
Challah cover
A small book of Shabbat blessings

Encourage your kids to use their Shabbat Box every week to help set up for Shabbat. It’s a wonderful way to make Shabbat special and meaningful for the whole family!
