Thank you to all our BRIYA members for another great year!! For our last BRIYA program of the year, we celebrated by playing Gaga, stuffed teddy bears for children in distress, played trivia with Amazon gift cards as prizes, and had SO much food. Between pizza, a salad bar, a potato bar, and an icecream bar, there was something for everyone. Can’t wait to see you all again next year!

BRIYA had the pleasure of joining the annual Thanks and Giving Interfaith Seder hosted by BRICA Boca Raton Interfaith Clergy Association
at Temple Beth El of Boca Raton.

We had a great time connecting with one another through symbolic foods and meaningful questions, while hearing from the faith leaders in our community. 🥧 🦃

What a fun delicious day at BRIYA yesterday! We learned all about the Jewish Holiday of Sukkot with a waffle bar 🧇, Lulav shake, a cookie/candy edible Sukkah 🍬, and arts & crafts! 🖼️

Welcome back BRIYA! Our first opening program this year is on Sunday, October 1st from 2:30-4PM for anyone in 6-12th grade. We will learn and celebrate the Jewish Holiday of Sukkot at B'nai Torah Congregation. Please RSVP to Gena Vallee or Cathy Berkowitz 🍎🍇🍋

🧸 BRIYA had our very own Build-A-Bear workshop, where we stuffed bears to be given to our local police department for children involved with Domestic Violence 💜

BRIYA has been invited tonight April 26th, to "Tap Dancing Through Auschwitz", play tonight 8pm.

We strongly encourage parents to join their teen at this play.

BRIYA visited B'nai Torah Congregation - Boca Raton to celebrate and learn about a special Jewish holiday called Purim! 🎭 We learned what this holiday was all about, during a live play of the Megillah Reading. After, it was off to the carnival🎡to have some fun! BRIYA enjoyed rides, games, bounce houses, a petting zoo, and carnival food 🍿🍭🍦🎟️

Every year, BRIYA is proud to walk with our community during the annual Martin Luther King, Jr. Unity Day. We marched from Ebenezer Missionary Baptist Church, to Mizner Park Amphitheater. During the ceremony, we had 4 BRIYA leaders each give a “We can’t wait” speech. These speeches ask our community spirit united, to build cultures of peace and justice among all lives in Boca Raton and beyond. We enjoyed the rest of the day at the Unity Celebration, which included yummy food and drinks, amusement rides, crafts, a DJ, games, drumming circle, photo booth and more!

🗓️ December 18th, 2022

BRIYA took a bus to visit the South Florida Hindú Temple. What an amazing experience it was to enjoy and try authentic food, explore their beautiful temple, and learn about the Hindu religion, customs, and culture.

BRIYA joined BRICA (Boca Raton Interfaith Clergy Association) for an Annual Community Interfaith Thanksgiving 🦃 . A beautiful service with prayers, readings, reflections. Two of our very own BRIYA leaders, spoke on the Bima (raised platform/stage)

A coastal & marine experience unlike any other!

BRIYA enjoyed a fun outing at , where we explored their aquariums with thousands of tropical fish, took a nature walk in their butterfly garden, and checked on the patients in their sea turtle rehabilitation facility 🐢

BRIYA visited to take a tour and learn more about their Episcopal Church. We enjoyed eating pizza 🍕 and decorating apples with yummy toppings🍏🍎
