Aries full moon 10/17/24 astrology and tarot 10/17/2024

Dear Friends and Family in the Four Directions:

Happy Full Moon - Enjoy my brother and Mike's video on YouTube and make sure to subscribe to their channel every New Moon and Full Moon they share their magic !

This full super moon in Aries urges us to ask the question “what have I done for myself lately?”

This is the final lunation in Aries while our collective north node is also in Aries. At the same time Mars, the ruler of Aries is in cancer and opposite Pluto. Pluto is in the anoretic degree in Capricorn for the very last time in our lifetimes and moves into Aquarius November 19. (Hint November 19th is my Birthday turning 55!)

This moon carries a sense of urgency to get matters straight before moving forward, looking to what has held us back from being able to individuate from the collective.

Look for and expect emotions to run high with added friction and personal clashes, but also if we are aware of the aggression fueled by Mars opposed to Pluto which indicates generational lessons, we can understand how to manage this energy.

Dear Friends and Family in the Four Directions:

I love who I am and for everything life has given me - Good and Bad ..

As a r**e survivor living with PTSD, I have faced many challenging moments on my healing journey. There are days when the weight of the past feels overwhelming, and in those times, I lately have been leaning into the powerful words of Stephen Colbert:

"I don't want it to have happened. I want it to not have happened, but if you are grateful for your life… then you have to be grateful for all of it. You can't pick and choose what you're grateful for."

These words remind me that while I can’t change the past, I can choose how I embrace my present and future. Healing is not about denying what happened; it’s about acknowledging the pain while also allowing space for growth, strength, and gratitude.

For anyone else who struggles with trauma and PTSD, here are some affirmations, simple practices, and a gentle ritual to support your healing process:

🌼"I Am" Affirmations ✨
Affirmations can help shift your internal dialogue and bring moments of peace during tough times. Repeat these daily:

👉🏽I am resilient, even in moments of doubt. ❤️
👉🏽I am deserving of peace and healing. 🌸
👉🏽I am patient with myself and my healing journey. ⏳
👉🏽I am in control of my present, and I honor my past without letting it define me. 🕊️
👉🏽I am enough, just as I am, and I choose love and compassion for myself. 💖
👉🏽I am releasing what no longer serves me and welcoming peace. 🌿
I am stronger than I know, and I trust the process of my healing.

🌞Simple Practices to Support Healing 🌿

💨Mindful Breathing 🧘‍♀️: Take 5 minutes each day to focus on your breath. Inhale deeply for 4 counts, hold for 4 counts, and exhale for 6 counts. With each exhale, imagine letting go of your pain, and with each inhale, invite peace and calm into your body. 🌬️

🌈Grounding in Nature 🍃: When feeling disconnected or overwhelmed, take a moment to step outside. If possible, walk barefoot on the earth, focusing on the sensation under your feet. This practice helps you feel grounded and present. 🌍

🪶Gratitude Journaling 📝: Every morning, write down three things you are grateful for. These don’t have to be big things—small moments of peace, a smile from a loved one, or even the warmth of the sun. This practice shifts your focus towards gratitude and healing. ☀️

🔥Healing Ritual & Mantra 🕯️
Rituals can provide comfort and a sense of control. Try this simple candle-lighting ritual:

🌝Candle Light Ritual 🔥: Find a quiet space and light a candle. As the flame burns, say aloud:

“I release what no longer serves me. I honor the strength within me. I welcome healing and peace into my heart.”

Sit for a few moments, watching the flame and visualizing its light filling you with warmth and strength. 🕯️ Allow the candle to burn for as long as you feel comfortable, and then gently blow it out, symbolizing the release of what weighs you down.

Daily Mantra 🔮
Whenever you feel overwhelmed or anxious, repeat this mantra:
“I release the past; I embrace my healing.”

This simple phrase helps bring focus back to your journey of healing, reminding you that each day is a step forward. 🌈

If you’re navigating trauma or PTSD, know that you are not alone in this process. Take things one day at a time, honor your pace, and lean into practices that bring you peace. 🌿💖

The Story
Once upon a time, in a quaint village nestled by a serene river, there was a unique and beautiful house made entirely of glass. The villagers marveled at its shimmering walls, which reflected sunlight and created a mesmerizing display of colors. The occupants of this glass house were known to be wealthy and influential, often engaging in social gatherings and enjoying the admiration of their peers.

Despite their own vulnerability, the inhabitants of the glass house frequently criticized their neighbors for their perceived faults. They looked down on others, pointing out their imperfections and making derogatory comments. Their criticisms ranged from minor grievances to more serious judgments about others' character and behavior.

One day, a storm rolled into the village. The winds howled, and the rain pounded down with ferocity. The glass house, being delicate and transparent, was not equipped to withstand such a tempest. As the storm raged on, the glass walls began to crack and shatter, causing the occupants to scramble for safety.

In the midst of the chaos, the villagers gathered around to help. They noticed that the glass house was not the only one affected; many homes in the village had suffered damage from the storm. Despite the widespread destruction, the villagers showed empathy and offered support to each other.

The storm eventually passed, and the sun emerged, casting a warm glow over the village. As the villagers worked together to repair their homes, they realized the lesson that the storm had imparted. The occupants of the glass house, now left with broken walls and shattered windows, were reminded of their own fragility.

The Lesson
The proverb "people who live in glass houses shouldn't throw stones" serves as a powerful reminder about humility and empathy. It teaches that:

Hypocrisy:
Criticizing others while being vulnerable to similar faults can lead to a lack of credibility and respect. Just as the glass house was exposed and shattered by the storm, those who judge others harshly may find themselves in a similar predicament.

Self-awareness:
Before pointing out the flaws of others, it is important to reflect on one's own imperfections. The glass house occupants learned that they were not immune to criticism themselves and that their own vulnerabilities made their judgments hollow.

Empathy and Support:
The villagers' response to the storm's damage highlighted the importance of empathy and mutual support. Instead of dwelling on criticism, coming together to help one another fosters a stronger and more compassionate community.

Fragility of Perceptions:
Just as the glass house was fragile and transparent, our judgments and criticisms can be superficial and easily broken. Understanding our own vulnerabilities helps us approach others with kindness and understanding.

In essence, the story of the glass house teaches us to approach others with empathy and to be mindful of our own imperfections before casting judgment. It emphasizes the value of compassion and the importance of recognizing our shared humanity.

Gossip is the Devil's radio. Live in such a way that you would not be ashamed to sell your parrot to the town gossip.

🌟 "Great minds focus on ideas, average minds on events, and small minds on people. Remember, those who gossip about others to you will likely gossip about you too. Keep your focus on what truly matters and let go of what’s none of your business." 💫🚀

I Am Affirmations
🌟 I am focused on positive ideas and uplifted by the energy of growth. 💡
🚀 I rise above gossip and embrace my own path with confidence and clarity. 🌈
💫 I attract meaningful conversations and let go of negativity with grace. 🌻

Journal Entries
📖 Reflect on how I handle gossip in my life. Do I find myself engaging in it, or am I able to rise above? How can I shift my focus towards more meaningful conversations and ideas? ✨
📝 Today, I encountered a situation where gossip was present. How did I respond? What did I learn about my own reactions and boundaries? How can I use this experience to grow and maintain my peace? 🌿
💭 Consider the impact of gossip on my well-being. How does it affect my thoughts and energy? What steps can I take to create a more positive and supportive environment for myself and those around me? 🌟

Responses to Gossip
🌈"I prefer to focus on uplifting conversations and positive growth. Let’s discuss something that inspires us!" 🌟💬
☀️"I’m not interested in hearing about what others say. Let’s direct our energy towards something that brings us joy and fulfillment." 🌈😊
❤️"I believe in rising above negativity and staying true to what matters most. Let’s keep our focus on constructive and meaningful topics." 💪🌻

Simple Ritual to Remove Toxic Energy
❤️Create a Cleansing Space: Find a quiet place where you feel at ease. Light a candle and take a few deep breaths to center yourself. 🕯️🌿
❤️Write and Release: Write down any thoughts or feelings related to the gossip or negativity you’ve encountered. Once written, safely burn the paper (or tear it into pieces and dispose of it), symbolizing the release of these toxic energies. 🔥✍️
❤️Visualize and Affirm: Close your eyes and visualize a bright, protective light surrounding you. As you breathe deeply, affirm to yourself: “I am surrounded by positivity and clarity. I let go of negativity and welcome peace and growth.” 🌟💫

Lions Gate Poem 🦁
by Heather Hall-Dudney

🌟 In the Sacred Light of the Lions Gate 🌟

Great Cosmic Forces,
As the Lions Gate opens wide, we stand in the brilliance of your energy,
Invoking the love and light that flows through this celestial gateway.

We honor the essence of 88, the number of infinite abundance and transformation.
May its vibrations illuminate our paths, guiding us to our highest potential.

With hearts open, we embrace the lion’s courage, strength, and grace,
Allowing this powerful energy to flow through us and elevate our spirits.
May our souls be renewed, and our intentions be aligned with the highest good.

In this sacred moment, we invite love to fill our beings,
Light to shine through our journey,
And the essence of 88 to empower our dreams and aspirations.

We call upon the wisdom of the stars,
The support of our ancestors,
And the boundless energy of the universe,
To guide us in this transformative time.

May we walk forward with clarity and purpose,
Radiating the love and light we receive.
In unity and gratitude, we honor this divine connection.

So it is, and so it shall be. 🌠💫

I am so in love with everything about the Full Moons, New Moon and the energy it brings. I sometimes joke that I might grow horns and a tail during the full moon - I am so sensitive to the energy.

🌕✨ As the luminous Buck Moon graces the skies this July, it ushers in an exhilarating and transformative period for the remainder of the year. While it might be tempting to become entangled in trivial power struggles or burden yourself with unattainable expectations, the resilient Buck Moon encourages you to break free from stagnation and release outdated habits and toxic cycles. Embrace this celestial energy to attract the opportunities and growth you desire. 🌟🌿

Known also as the Thunder Moon or Hay Moon, this Buck Moon will reach its zenith on July 21, 2024, in the determined and ambitious sign of Capricorn. Given that the Strawberry Moon also occurred in Capricorn, this full moon represents a continuation and deepening of the themes and events from June 21. 🦌🌕🔮

As Leo season begins the day after the Buck Moon, you might feel inspired to find harmony between your practical and creative sides. Maximize this vibrant energy by exploring new ways of self-expression that resonate with your long-term dreams and aspirations. 🦁✨

This July’s Buck Moon, being the second Capricorn full moon of the year, focuses on acknowledging your progress and intentionally moving forward with purpose. Let’s delve into the significance of the Buck Moon and its spiritual meaning for 2024. 🌌🌟

What Is a Buck Moon? 🌕 The Buck Moon is the full moon of July, symbolizing a period of increased determination and self-awareness. During a full moon, the sun and moon align opposite each other in the sky, amplifying themes of change, completion, and the fulfillment of desires. This lunar phase is also marked by heightened emotions, intuitive insights, and spiritual energy. 🌠🔮

Why Is It Called the Buck Moon? 🦌 The term “Buck Moon” originates from the time of year when male deer, or bucks, start to grow their antlers. Native tribes used the moon’s cycles to track the seasons and plan crucial activities like hunting and planting. This full moon was a significant marker, indicating the preparation for the upcoming hunting season. It’s also referred to as the Thunder Moon due to the frequent thunderstorms and the Hay Moon, as it coincides with the hay harvesting season. 🌧️🌾

When Is the Buck Moon? 📅 The Buck Moon will reach its peak on Sunday, July 21, 2024, at approximately 6:17 a.m. ET (3:17 a.m. PT). 🕕🌕

What Sign Is the Buck Moon In? ♑ This full moon will be in Capricorn, an earth sign associated with practicality and ambition. As the second Capricorn full moon this year, it’s a time to reflect on your legacy and achievements. Capricorn’s energy often involves tradition, responsibility, and authority, highlighting issues related to family, career, and public image. 🌍🌟

What Is the Buck Moon Spiritual Meaning? 🌌 Spiritually, the Buck Moon signifies growth, renewal, and transformation, mirroring the process of bucks shedding and regrowing their antlers. This full moon is a call to shed old patterns and embrace personal evolution. With Cancer season coinciding, it’s an opportune moment to realign your daily routines and relationships to support rejuvenation and inner peace. 🌿💫

Do you ever feel disconnected from your sacred purpose?

"Nothing is worth poisoning yourself with stress, anxiety, and fear. While you may not control all the events that happen to you, you can choose not to be diminished by them. Instead of worrying about what you cannot control, shift your energy to what you can create. Feelings come and go like clouds in a windy sky."

This message emphasizes the importance of maintaining inner peace and focusing on what you can control rather than being overwhelmed by external events. It encourages shifting your energy from worry and fear to creativity and positive action, highlighting the transient nature of emotions.

Ritual for Grounding:
Grounding yourself means staying present and connected to the moment. It helps you manage anxiety and stress by fostering stability and calm. Here is a simple grounding ritual:

🌿 Find a Quiet Space: Sit or stand comfortably with your feet flat on the ground.

🌿 Take Deep Breaths: Inhale deeply through your nose, hold for a few seconds, and exhale slowly through your mouth. Focus on your breath and let go of any tension with each exhale.

🌿 Connect with Your Senses: Pay attention to what you see, hear, taste, smell, and feel. Describe your surroundings to yourself to anchor your mind to the present moment.

🌿 Ask Grounding Questions: Gently ask yourself, "Who am I?", "Where am I?", and "What day is it?" to bring your awareness back to the present.

🌿 Visualize Roots: Imagine roots growing from the soles of your feet into the earth, anchoring you and providing stability and strength.

🌿 Express Gratitude: Reflect on a few things you are grateful for in your life. This practice helps shift your focus from stress to positive aspects.

I Am Affirmations:
🌸 I am in control of my reactions and choose peace over worry.
🌸 I am connected to the present moment and find strength within it.
🌸 I am capable of transforming my energy into positive creations.

Journal Prompts:
🌼 Reflect on a recent situation that caused you stress. How did you handle it, and what could you do differently next time?
🌼 Write about a moment when you felt fully present and grounded. What contributed to that feeling?
🌼 List three things you can control in your life and how you can focus your energy on them.

I feel like so many of my friends are experiencing grief in one form or another from death of loved ones, ending of relationships, kids moving out of the home, their own trauma and grief (I often feel like my PTSD) goes through the stages of grief -

"Grief, whether from death, relationships, or PTSD, opens a sacred space within us. It strips away defenses, revealing profound wisdom and connection."

Did you know? In the Lakota-Sioux tradition, a grieving person is regarded as "wakan," or most holy. This belief holds that when someone experiences sudden and profound loss, they stand at the threshold of the spirit world. Their prayers are considered especially potent, and it is customary to seek their assistance. 🌟🙏

Reflect on your own experiences with someone who has grieved deeply. Such a person often appears to have no protective barriers, no defenses left. The mystery of existence seems to peer through their eyes. In that state, they accept the reality of their loss, no longer clinging to the past or reaching for the future. In the profound openness of their sorrow, there is a presence and a natural wisdom that is deeply whole.

Other Cultures That Embrace Grief ...

Japanese Culture:
In Japanese culture, grief is often expressed through the concept of "mono no aware," which translates to the "pathos of things." This reflects an awareness of the impermanence of life and the beauty and sadness that comes with it. The grieving process is seen as a time to deeply appreciate the transient nature of existence and to honor the memories of those who have passed. 🌸🍃

Mexican Culture:
In Mexican tradition, particularly during Dia de los Mu***os (Day of the Dead), grief is embraced as a time to celebrate and honor the lives of those who have departed. It is believed that during this time, the spirits of the dead return to the world of the living to be with their loved ones. Altars, offerings, and festivities reflect a deep respect and connection to the deceased. 💀🎉

Irish Culture:
In Irish culture, grief is often expressed through the tradition of the "wake." This involves a gathering where friends and family come together to mourn, share stories, and celebrate the life of the deceased. The wake serves as a communal acknowledgment of loss, providing a space for collective grief and support. 🍀🕯️

Buddhist Culture:
In Buddhist traditions, grief is seen as an opportunity for spiritual growth and understanding. The impermanence of life is a central tenet, and grieving is approached with mindfulness and compassion. Rituals and practices such as chanting and meditation are used to honor the dead and support the grieving process. 🕉️🧘‍♂️

Hindu Culture:
In Hinduism, the period of mourning is marked by specific rituals and ceremonies aimed at helping the soul of the deceased on its journey. Family members often observe a period of austerity and reflection, recognizing the profound transition of death and embracing the opportunity to purify their own hearts and minds. 🌺🙏

In all these traditions, grief is not merely seen as a period of sorrow but as a sacred time of connection, reflection, and transformation. The openness and vulnerability experienced during grief are recognized as pathways to deeper wisdom and spiritual presence. 🌟🌿
