Tomorrow begins the illustrious Bronco Giving Day, from February 28-29!

Help support our club continue to provide opportunities to those who run!🌱

We have made some big leaps recently and have traveled with our athletes to neighboring Caldwell and Nampa, as well as Eugene, Oregon this past weekend! We hope to grow the running community at Boise State through this club sport and share our passions with each other!

Nike Cross Regionals: 10/11/23

We capped off our cross country season at Nike Cross Regionals Northwest in Eagle, ID! Our men’s team finished first overall in the open race with Jason leading the team! Huge kudos to all who raced including Boden, Tyler, Jacob, Gus, Michael, Jason, Kaleb, Austin, and Olga for their efforts!

Afterwards, we stuck around to help volunteer in the operations of the high school races!

We had our first spirit week in celebration of this last hurrah where we repped our old schools, embraced our patriotic spirit🇺🇸, rolled outta bed for a run in PJs, and then previewed the course in Bronco gear!

What a great time to be surrounded by such great energies from the running community!🤗

We enjoyed having a costume run on Halloween and getting some speed work done at a nearby park!🎃🤠

This week is SPIRIT WEEK for our club as we have our final meet this semester at Nike Cross Regionals! 🥳🪩

BOY OH BOY! Our club’s plans last week were too hot to handle! We had fewer runs this week since had the opportunity to volunteer at the Mountain West Championships with set up and cheering on our Broncos! We also bonded as a team at a pumpkin patch as well as fundraised while scanning tickets at the Boise State Football game!

Never ending claps for Michael, Martha, Kaleb, Lindsay, Kaden, Jack, Oliver, Boden, Ethan, Austin, Jacob, Gus, Jason, and Olga for all the fun this week! 👏Plus, shoutout to 2 random runners that joined in our group picture! 🤪

Our club completed a sunset run at the Military Reserve trails, Greenbelt runs, and a track ladder workout!

We are excited to be volunteering at the Mountain West Championships this week and we wish our Broncos the best of luck!

What good runs we had this week as a club hitting the Greenbelt and the trails with even BETTER company with all of you plus a furry friend! 🐾

This will look like a Dodge appreciation post, but we swear this is a Boise State Running Club post haha!

Our Broncos traveled to the Amazon Trail in Eugene, OR to compete in the Platypus Dual against UO and OSU. 🦆🦫They placed 3rd in the team rankings!! Boden Bisgard led the Broncos finishing 23rd, followed by Kaleb Barnhart 27th, and Tyler Lopez 34th. Lindsay Hecox represented our lady Broncos and placed 4th. 👏🐎

The squad enjoyed the friendly competition + all clubs celebrated their achievements at a post race awards, snacks, and hangout where all clubs gathered around the universal camaraderie of running!! 🤩

The Broncos also toured Tracktown, USA and visited countless running landmarks such as Hayward field, Pre’s trail, and Prefontaine’s memorial.

What an amazing opportunity and we are thrilled to have more trips like this in our future!!

This past week’s runs were fun + funky! 🤪We started with a run downtown finding a large structure to climb @ JUMP, a fun relay at the track where we used a stick as a baton, plus a greenbelt run where we soaked in the river afterwards!

Last last week’s runs were great! Had some great runs on the Greenbelt, the Military reserve where we saw an Elephant Rock, and we even tested our soccer skills with our infamous Fun Fridays! 🐘⚽️

Last week was a fun trail-crazy week for our club where we had 2 trail runs in Boise! 🐎

What a great week of runs this week with our club!!

We battled through some intervals on the Greenbelt, hit some hills in the foothills, ran on some trails up at Bogus, and even helped fundraise by scanning tickets for the Boise State Football game!! 🏈

Thank you all for such a SPECTACULAR semester!! For our last few runs, we ventured by a scenic overlook of the mountains, visited the train depot, and even had a fun Indian run where we used a speaker as a baton!!

It’s Election Day, folks!! 🇺🇸

We’ll be having another general body meeting TODAY @ 4-5 PM! Please try to make it! Virtual attendance is available through Zoom. If you are unable to be there, we will send out a recap email afterwards. Exciting people to be elected! 👀▪️

This will take the place of our run for Thursday, but for those who wanna stick around afterwards, we can have an optional short run or play some fun activity in the Rec Center! 🥳

Our club had some fun runs this week! Ran across some of the flooded Greenbelt, visited the Nest at MK Nature Center, and even did some volunteering picking up trash along the Greenbelt for Earth Day! 🚮 Found tons of children’s glasses, goggles, and tons of boots in the brush by the river!

NNU Invitational: 4/15/23

We had a strong showing at our track debut this season in Nampa, ID! Huge kudos to Alex, Austin, Gus, Lindsay, Martha, Olga, and Tyler for their great efforts!⭐️

Our athletes competed in the 100m, 200m, 400m, 3k steeplechase, 1500, 5000, TJ, and HJ! Some of our steeple people were awarded with the rubber duckies floating in the water pit! 🦆
