The Salvation Army Charity Football Series was created with the purpose of fundraising with football as its basis.

In this new normal we are experiencing, we had to get a little creative and think outside the traditional bell ringing to raise funds to help out the canyon county community this coming holiday season.

We’ve formed the charity football series this fall between the Top Northwest teams and the newly formed Boise Blues. The Blues are built with high caliber players from within the Boise area and region.

Our first game on Oct 24th at Simplot Stadium will feature two of the most decorated quarterbacks in the Northwest. Both played professionally, Hayden Wright, the Boise Blues starting Qb is a hometown guy that led the Idaho Horseman to a perfect 13-0 season last year. Adam Kruse will be leading the South Sound Nighthawks which hail out of the Seattle Washington area. Kruse set many franchise records while playing professionally overseas in France.

Both teams have multiple Professional Indoor players as well as former college players and looks to be a great Saturday of football.

Let’s tackle hunger together this fall. 100% of the proceeds go directly to the Salvation Army and help out the Canyon County community.
