My highly sought-after naturally leavened brioche einkorn donut holes are finally back due to overwhelming customer demand! 🎉🍩 Everyone and their grandma have eagerly inquired about the availability of my donuts, and I'm thrilled to announce their return!

To ensure a fair distribution, I decided to offer them in smaller quantities, allowing more customers to enjoy these delectable treats.

You can choose from three flavors: Vanilla Bean Glazed, Cacao Glazed, Sugar Coated, or a delightful combination of all three. 😋

Please note that these donuts are meticulously crafted and fried in tallow. They must be picked up on the same day! While they can be enjoyed for a few days, they are at their peak of freshness and flavor on the day of purchase.

I just spent a little over $600 for 145 lbs of biodynamically grown (beyond organic) einkorn flour.
(vs. regular organic flour, which would be around $140 ish for the same amount)

My prices reflect the high quality, nutrient dense, easy to digest ancient grain that I use for us all to benefit from.

I may not have as high profit margin as other micro bakeries in the Valley, but it's important to me to use einkorn exclusively. I've seen how much it's benefited not only my family but also those who purchase from me as well. I absolutely adore hearing the stories from customers sharing how they are finally able to eat REAL bread again. It really warms my heart!!

I began baking for others shortly after moving to Boise in hopes of finding a community that shares my same interests + lifestyle.
Through baking, I've been able to connect with such amazing, like-minded people, + I've truly created lasting friendships because of it.

Two commonly asked questions - answered!! ⬇️

𝙌: 𝙒𝙝𝙮 𝙙𝙤 𝙮𝙤𝙪 𝙪𝙨𝙚 @𝙟𝙤𝙫𝙞𝙖𝙡𝙛𝙤𝙤𝙙𝙨 𝙚𝙞𝙣𝙠𝙤𝙧𝙣 𝙛𝙡𝙤𝙪𝙧?

𝘼: Because it's biodynamically grown (beyond organic) in the pristine hills of Italy. It's nature's original wheat.

It's incredibly good for the gut - fermented or not!
It doesn't contain the same gluten that modern wheat does therefore people who have gluten sensitivities are able to digest it with ease. It's also much higher in nutrients.

It's a non negotiable for me - I know myself + many other people have been absolutely blessed by this ancient grain + I'll never switch back to modern wheats!

𝙌: 𝙄𝙨𝙣'𝙩 𝙚𝙞𝙣𝙠𝙤𝙧𝙣 𝙛𝙡𝙤𝙪𝙧 𝙢𝙤𝙧𝙚 𝙚𝙭𝙥𝙚𝙣𝙨𝙞𝙫𝙚 𝙘𝙤𝙢𝙥𝙖𝙧𝙚𝙙 𝙩𝙤 𝙤𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙧 𝙛𝙡𝙤𝙪𝙧𝙨?

𝘼: Yes, it is. That's why my bakes are a bit higher priced than other micro bakeries in the Treasure Valley.

Once you understand ~𝘸𝘩𝘺~ this flour is pricier it makes total sense - Einkorn is much more work for the farmers to grow, harvest, hull, + mill which ups the price tag. I'll go more in depth on this topic in another post!

Fresh bread on a warm day hits different 🌾✨️

Baking 100% einkorn sourdough artisan loaves is my favorite pass time. 💕

This einkorn sourdough pizza crust is so yummy and easy for a last minute supper option!

The dough freezes well so you can stock your freezer + meal plan for the week.

Just let it come to room temp before shaping into circles, add toppings + bake - Easy!

We love using glass jar diced tomatoes, raw goat cheddar, and clean turkey pepperoni for topping!

If you can't finish a whole loaf in time before it goes bad/stale a simple + easy way to preserve your loaf of sourdough is to freeze sliced pieces!

My large artisan loaf is 2+ lbs! I frequently slice + freeze half of it to enjoy at a later time!

A great way to do this is by slicing the loaf, laying the slices in one layer + flash freezing for 30 minutes or so then putting them together + wrapping it all up well and sticking back in the freezer for up to a month!

P.s. I offer sliced loaves at no additional cost- so that skips a step for you!😉
