Meet Coach Aidan! Aidan is a junior at Boise State, studying Business Marketing while minoring in Psychology. Before attending Boise State, Aidan played collegiate football at Arizona Christian University. When he wasn't playing football, he was helping coach it: he was the assistant coach of a 13U Pop Warner team, and spent his summers as a sports instructor for Strategic Kids, a comprehensive educational after-school program. Now we have the pleasure of having Aidan on our staff! 🏆🏈

Boise AfterSchool Athletics has been looking for a way to give back to our schools and their great students, and we've found the perfect solution. We are so happy to present our Free Program Raffle!🥇

If parents are facing financial constraints that hinder them from enrolling their children in their school's program, they have the option to enter our Free Program Raffle 🎟️

Depending on current enrollments and each school's circumstances, anywhere from 1 to 3 students from each school will be randomly selected and have the opportunity to participate in our program at no cost 🏈🏀

Ensuring every child has the chance to participate in youth sports is a big deal to us, and through our Free Program Raffle, Boise AfterSchool Athletics aims to contribute to this important cause 🥳

And that's a wrap for our 8-week session at : Meridian North! 🎉 We had the pleasure of using GPMN's beautiful indoor gymnasium, which was an awesome experience for the kids. Over our 8 weeks, the kids learned about communication, working together, and fundamental basketball skills. We would like to extend a huge thank you to all of the amazing Gem Prep staff who helped us over the course of our program, and also to all of the great parents who signed their kids up for the program🎖 We will be running another 8-week basketball program starting in January, which you can sign up for through boiseASA.com 🏀

And now the 4th and 5th graders over at Sage International School of Boise are all done with their program! The 4th and 5th graders were such a great group of kids to coach, and they always had a fun time in class 🏀

We would like to extend a huge thank you Sage International School for letting us host our program on their campus. It has been more successful than we ever could have imagined, and we are excited about the prospect of continuing to deliver top-notch programs to their school in the future🎖

And that's wrap on our first program! 🏀 Our 2nd and 3rd graders had a blast at our AfterSchool Basketball Program. They learned new skills, laughed with their friends, and enjoyed a healthy dose of outdoor exercise. Thank you to our great coaches, the supportive parents, and all of our wonderful kids who came out and played basketball with us. Hey everyone! We're super excited to announce our first Summer Basketball Camp! It will be held at Riverstone International School from July to August for kids grades 2-5. Our founder and head coach Brian Wilkerson started Boise AfterSchool Athletics to ensure that young athletes have the opportunity to work on and develop their skills from a young age. By creating a program that comes to you, all kids are able to access the tools necessary to pursue their dreams! Brian has played sports his entire life. After playing college basketball at Menlo College in the Bay Area, Brian’s path shifted and he transferred over to Boise State University. Now as a graduate, Brian works day in and day out to make sure that Boise AfterSchool Athletics is the best program available for your young athlete to attend. In his free time, you can find Brian coaching at Boise CrossFit or running on the Greenbelt.
