Troop 33 features a more traditional Boy Scout experience with a variety of camping experiences, where Scout's create and lead their program, adults support and coach the youth providing guidance and direction, and a commitment to community service.

Joseph, Sam, and Drake completed the mile swim. his afternoon is filled with camp wide games, ceremonies, competitions, showers, and packing. The day will end with a closing campfire. Tomorrow, we are planning to get on the road by 8:30 am. and into Boise late afternoon.
Where has the week gone? Yesterday evening, we had a troop shoot out. Howard bought ice cream for all Scouts afterwards. Carter enjoyed his night in a shelter for Wilderness Survival Merit badge. Today, classes finished this morning.
We cooked lunch in camp today. Forestry Merit Badge class left camp for a few hours on a field trip to a local lumber mill. Tonight is the troop shoot. Any Scout out shooting Howard receives an ice cream cone. Matt was selected from the ATV class to join a few on over night ATV adventure into the woods. So much more is happening. Camp is very busy - and a lot of fun.
Tuesday evening ended with a troop campfire and camp wide star party. A few Scouts attended the activity. Matt, Keola, Joseph, Jesse, Isaac, Diewke, and I began the day with the polar bear challenge of a swim activity at 6:30 am. Our campsite has leather projects, started essays/ reports, and baskets spread out on the picnic benches. Today will be more classes and activities. All doing well.
