Where has the week gone? Yesterday evening, we had a troop shoot out. Howard bought ice cream for all Scouts afterwards. Carter enjoyed his night in a shelter for Wilderness Survival Merit badge. Today, classes finished this morning.

07/28/2011

We cooked lunch in camp today. Forestry Merit Badge class left camp for a few hours on a field trip to a local lumber mill. Tonight is the troop shoot. Any Scout out shooting Howard receives an ice cream cone. Matt was selected from the ATV class to join a few on over night ATV adventure into the woods. So much more is happening. Camp is very busy - and a lot of fun.

Tuesday evening ended with a troop campfire and camp wide star party. A few Scouts attended the activity. Matt, Keola, Joseph, Jesse, Isaac, Diewke, and I began the day with the polar bear challenge of a swim activity at 6:30 am. Our campsite has leather projects, started essays/ reports, and baskets spread out on the picnic benches. Today will be more classes and activities. All doing well.
