Yesterday was a great day for Waltz Events! We had a perfect morning meeting at with and in prep for their upcoming 10/4/2024 wedding day! We finally get to collaborate with too, since she will be assisting us and serving as baby back-up should we go offline early! Then we stuck around and ate hole in the wall burgers in Emmett…can’t go wrong with a local diner-style lunch. Then we wrapped the day supporting with her wedding at 🫶💕

Now for a day of rest before we lock back in for a few more epic wedding days!✨

We 😬might😬 be a little biased, but today is the fourth anniversary of the best wedding EVER! Four years ago today we (Jakob and Aubrey) got married in Boise at with 50 of our closest family and friends in attendance during the infamous year that was 2020.

Since then we have gotten to be a part of so many epic love stories! Aren’t weddings just the BEST!?💕

This moment is still a top highlight from our year so far! Emma and Parker met at a McDonalds, so this little touch made for some sweet photos and a perfectly salty late-night reception snack! coordinated this wedding so perfectly, and we loved getting to day-of coordinate and execute alongside her.

Enjoying the last few months of life just us two as we count down our final weddings of 2024 until October!✨

In case you’re teetering on the edge of hiring a month-of or day-of coordinator, here are just a few things we did yesterday to keep the wedding moving ahead smoothly and seamlessly!

🥤Managed the drink coolers to ensure they were always stocked.
🕯️Fire management: lit all candles just before reception start and blew them all out pre open-dancing!
🌸Applied all boutonnières to groomsmen and fathers.
🦟Provided bug spray when the mosquitos came for blood during the post reception evening takedown.
🗑️Made multiple trash runs.
🎁Put all gifts and guest book in the brides car for the grand exit.
🎂Set the cake, cake stand, and cutting utensils for the cake cutting.
🧼Washed the cake stand and utensils post cake-cutting.
💒Adjusted the reception set as needed for optimal flow of evening and maximal dancing.
🖊️Provided new pens for the guest book when the original ones dried out.
💐Shifted florals throughout the night for optimal usage.
🆘Troubleshot any issues that came up throughout the day to ensure the bride and groom never knew a thing!
😎Cleaned the event up throughout the night to ensure a 1hr max clean up post event.
📣Adjusted the timeline as needed and updated vendors on key changes to enhance flow of the night.
📋Checked in on all vendors regularly to ensure they were all on the same page and feeling good about their part in the day.
🎇Unpackaged all the sparklers and prepped the water for the sparkler send-off.
👉Guided guests through the night and to key areas of venue: ceremony, reception, bathrooms, parking, etc.
🎀Set the ceremony area with umbrellas, ribbons, floral toss cups, fans, and helped with ceremony florals.
✅Did a final check of the venue and sweep before heading out — checking for lost and found items, trash, etc.

Month-Of Coordination is our most popular wedding package and our top recommendation for optimal support and efficiency! 🙌🏼

In this package, our partnership begins about a month out from your wedding date. We’ll meet up for an initial intake meeting and make a visit to your venue! Then, two weeks out from your wedding, we’ll have another meeting to wrap things up. This is where we fully take over so that you can be fully present and stress-free for the two weeks leading up to your wedding. From there, we will coordinate your wedding rehearsal and be there to make the magic happen for 8-12 hours on your wedding day. This package also includes miscellaneous support throughout the month (help with constructing a timeline, venue layout, etc.) AND unlimited vendor recommendations throughout your entire wedding planning process. ✨

So basically… we get to be besties for the whole month leading up to your wedding 🤗 AND you get to fully relax and be present on the most important day of your life, knowing two people you trust are going to execute your plans ✨exactly✨ as you have envisioned them!

The best part about planning this wedding was getting to work with Adelaide and Zack. They are kind, optimistic, creative, playful, and sincere. Plus, their love for each other is honest and inspiring. It was such a treat to witness them celebrate so joyously with their loved ones! 🤍

This wedding was quite literally a dream come true. 6 months of planning to turn this family-run drive-in movie theatre into the wedding venue of our dreams. ✨

This wedding was classy, simple, elegant, and timeless. We showed up about 4 hours before the ceremony start time, set up all of the decor, welcomed in the other vendors, kept things smooth and on schedule throughout the ceremony/reception, and then stayed afterwards to take everything down and pack it away. It ended up being the most beautiful day! We had so much fun making this couple’s vision come to life. ✨
