Moved. Inspired. (re)Motivated. READY. A sprinkling of some feelings that have risen this past week, following our first multi-day event 🎄🎄🎄 (Vintage Market Days of South Idaho). A lot of this little business is operational, strictly ‘behind the scenes’ stuff. The act of bringing my vision to life in the Vintage Market Days this past weekend was not for the faint of heart. 😅 Weeks of noodling and preparation, building paper walls and bookshelves from nothing. Designing holiday book boxes to encourage READing & RELAXing and incorporating some great women small businesses, too! Upon arriving at the venue the week of the event, I paused and stood in this grand open space. To go from one day being in this immense space with a just few boxes being unloaded to a fully fledged massive vintage market….WOW. But the best part? BEING with Y’ALL. 🤍 SHARING Pearl House with our community. Discussing books + creativity + perspectives. On several occasions, I found myself noticing people just using our booth as a space to chat and slow down. This is what I’ve dreamt of. Unpacking stories that are intrinsically ours, and finding healing and laughter by sharing them with one another. I cannot wait for the spaces we will continue to create.
