IT’S BASKETBALL TIME IN… Vegas? Dayton?

We had such a great time cheering on our basketball teams during the Mountain West and NCAA Tournaments!
And for an added bonus, we got to see and meet some of our brothers and sisters from Alpha Iota at CU Boulder, Gamma Iota at New Mexico, Zeta Mu and Epsilon Rho at Grambling State, and Kappa at Colorado State!
It was such a great experience being able to see our brothers and sisters striving for the highest in their outstanding bands!

Western District Convention 2023 was a success! We had an absolute blast getting to immerse ourselves into music and the brotherhood. Not to mention waking up to the beautiful sight that is Park City, Utah!

We would also love to extend a huge congratulations to Iota Kappa’s very own, Mary “Is Mayonnaise an Instrument” Elliott on her re-election to serve as our Western District President! 💙🤟

Meeting our brothers and sisters this weekend was such a delightful experience and we can’t wait to do it all again at National Convention in Orlando, Florida this summer! ☀️

Big news has just been announced for Boise State Music alumnus, Daniel Wiley, Conductor!

Daniel has recently been appointed Assistant Conductor for the highly prestigious Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra, Cincinnati Pops Orchestra, and May Festival. Founded in 1895, the CSO has a long history of exquisite performances, premier talent, and strong leadership. We could not be more proud. Congrats Daniel!

Hey Alumni and friends! Did you know that the Blue Thunder membership continues to grow and it's no surprise that the 2021 edition was the largest to perform on the Blue in university history? Did you know that it takes over 4600 meals to keep the Blue Thunder Marching Band energized through band camp and home football games? That's a lot of calories!! Your support of the Blue Thunder through Bronco Giving Day will go towards providing lunch and dinner throughout camp in August and meals prior to home games next fall. Thanks to generous donors, ALL contributions to the Blue Thunder, no matter how large or small, will be matched dollar for dollar! The Blue Thunder greatly looks forward to providing the same high-energy performances in 2022 with your continued support.
