Please be cautious of craiglist rental ads. Out of State/Country scammers are copying ads and pretending to be Homeowners and Prop managers then collecting deposits from unsuspecting tenants. “Integrity is doing the right thing, even if nobody is watching.”

today's word is "strategy" I am seeing more people exploring strategic foreclosure in combination with a strategic short sales. As a property manger in Boise ID, I am dealing with multiple tenants who pay their rent but are still looking at the impact of a foreclosure.

My Market News: 2009 saw a lot more bruising for the real estate market. That being said, I believe the future for rental property in the Treasure Valley looks good. The supply is reducing and tenant pools are strong. Rent values remain basically unchanged. In some areas, due to product supply, we are seeing significant downward pressure on rent values, while other areas are attracting multiple qualified tenants.
