The events that have unfolded in the occupied Palestinian territory and Israel over the past month are unprecedented and the suffering is enormous.
Our only interest is the lives of civilians, and how we can help them survive fighting that is increasingly intense and deadly. At the moment, that means focusing on Gaza, where more than 2 million Palestinian civilians and hostages taken in Israel face peril and disaster every day.
There is an imperative to reduce the death and suffering of the civilian Palestinian population in Gaza. We have a team on the ground in Egypt and are trying to work with partners to deliver supplies and provide bespoke and specialist support. But the barriers to access are immense.
Our reminder: Civilians are bearing the brunt of this conflict and must be protected.
If you're cleaning out your house before the holiday season, consider setting these items aside for the IRC in Boise's Supplies Drive!😁
All of these items will be distributed to refugees throughout the Treasure Valley, to make sure they have all the housing supplies they need!🎉
Please reach out to Emmy Power ([email protected]) with any direct questions about the supplies drive. We look forward to seeing you then! 🥳
