CaseyGirl is looking pretty different these days! It has been a month now since I closed the retail shop. Life is a little quieter and the hours are definitely different but all is good. So good.

Getting the work space set up was a little more than I bargained for and I still have a box or two to unpack but I’ll get there. My neighbors stop in and say hi, which I love, but I do miss my Weiser folks.

Speaking of, I will be over at ArtfulBon’s on Tuesday mornings from 730am-9am (maybe 10am). Fabric consultations, pick-up/drop off, or just a chat…all good reasons to stop in! Drop a ☕️ in the comments and I’ll see you next Tuesday!

Sometimes you are given an unexpected opportunity to change things up. Given a chance to explore what was, up until now, only a distant dream. My chance is here and I am ready to take it.

Over the next few months I am going to be making some big changes to my life and to my business in an effort to accept the opportunity given. I am, to quote a good friend, rebranding & rebuilding. I am a rotating mess of excitement, anxiety, sadness, and determination. My one constant is my faith. This will be hard but really good in the end.

Now that I’ve got you all wondering what they hey is going on I’ll let you in on what the next step is…I have to refinish a floor. 😂 Baby steps folks, we’re doing it all in baby steps!

As an upholsterer and budding designer I have found that finding the right fabrics and systems to make your home and lifestyle seamless can be a challenge. Our instinct is to move messes away from our pretty furniture but not all of us have a separate space where the kids can get stuff dirty without recourse....

This chair was picked up just yesterday afternoon. The client had enough time to get it in the living room before their dinner date. When they came back the cat had already claimed it! I don’t know whether to coo at the adorable cat face or cringe at the claws in the upholstery…🫣
