We are hosting the first annual Live Out Love Brunch and Silent Auction, benefiting LCSNW's Safe Families program!
What: Proceeds support LCSNW's work with vulnerable children and families here in Idaho's Treasure Valley.
Why? As a nonprofit, they rely on the collective good will of community to help us transform lives. We want to celebrate our impact and invite you to be part of this compassionate movement with us. We all have a role to play!
How you can help us:
Do you have a service, product or experience you can donate? Can you sponsor a gift basket? Are you able to make a monetary donation to Safe Families? Can you provide Thrivent funds or a charitable gift? Thank you for making a difference!
Safe Families = Love in Action!
Through Safe Families for Children, Lutheran Community Services NW is serving families across the Treasure Valley that face significant challenges related to childcare, housing and economic instability. We believe every parent deserves support, no matter their circumstances. When challenges arise, limited resources & social isolation can put overwhelmed families at risk for foster care intervention. By surrounding families with a network of compassionate volunteers who are motivated by faith, we can prevent the need for foster care and help families flourish!
YOU are invited to join this movement of compassion and faith:
• Join us for our first annual “Live Out Love” Brunch and Silent Auction on Nov 2nd
• Donate goods, services, or experiences to be auctioned off. Contact Jessica (208) 866-6322, [email protected]
• Volunteer! From baking casseroles, to babysitting, there are many ways you can serve and bless a family in need. Visit LCSNW.org/SafeFamilies

Wonderful Pride Parade in Boise. There was a lot of joy, positivity and fun. Thanks to our King of Glory participants and the 16 or so other faith communities in attendance.
Great turnout at the Boise Trans parade yesterday. There were hundreds of people who came and walked from the Capitol to the Anne Frank memorial. A great night to lift up gender equality. Tomorrow is the Pride parade.
