Fire Cider Prepping Season!!

NOW is the time to prepare your fire cider to prepare a head of times of need.

This age- old remedy is used to strengthen the immune system and ward off cold weather illnesses, help with digestion, and warm the body during the cold seasons.

Using a recipe to start and made a few adds and changes!

1/2 Cup Fresh Ginger chopped well
1/2 Cup Fresh Horseradish chopped well
1 Med Onion chopped
5 Cloves of Garlic chopped
2 Organic Jalapeño sliced
2 Sprigs of Rosemary
1/4 Cup of chopped fresh turmeric
1/2 grapefruit - I sliced and added into the fire Cider
1 cinnamon stick
Apple Cider Vinegar- +/- 4 cups to fill jar

Herbal boosters! Feel free to add herbs such as anise pods, astragalus, thyme, sage, cloves, elderberries, and so many more!

Prepare your fruits and veggies into a quart jar and top with ACV. Use plastic lids ( I love the ball leak-proof 🙌 ) or wax paper between the metal ring so the vinegar does not rust the lid. Let sit for 4 weeks! Giving a shake every few days!

Mix in 1 cup of local honey when ready to use!

FAQ: when will our doors be open?

Ugh, we know! We wanted to be open by now, too! We are approaching the finish line, but of course, it is taking longer than we had hoped. We keep being told that is just the nature of the industry so we’re taking big breaths and rolling with the tide!

Our expectation is to be able to start moving in within the next couple weeks, so please stay tuned and cross your fingers with us that our wait is coming to an end! In the meantime, we can take your online or emailed orders for free shipping or local pickup!

Idaho Artist Suzanne DeSoleil creates handmade art in her home studio with her twin
daughters. She paints the world inspired by her adventurous life exploring the
wilderness with her amazing girls. Her vibrant paintings capture the mystery, light, and
joy of life. She climbs mountains, hikes the desert, and marvels at the mystery of the
woods; everything is art to Suzanne. From gathering wolf lichen in the forest and flicker
feathers at climbing areas, she creates her artwork from all she encounters. Her early
pottery came from digging clay out of riverbanks and firing wood fired kilns. Today her
pots are fired twice to live through centuries and are happy in the dishwasher,
microwave, and oven as bakeware. Her ears and braids are adorned with feathers from
the daily adventure. She is living her best life and treading lightly to preserve and keep
Earth Wild. Suzanne has her artwork hanging in a private museum next to an original
Picasso, she has been in museums and galleries across the country, shown work
internationally for decades, worked in a pottery studio in Greece, she was the leading
actress in an Emmy award winning film, and her commitment to her craft is as
unforgiving as it is glamorous. She is living her best life and happiest when her art brings joy to your world.

Kayla grew up exploring the various landscapes of Idaho; from open farmland framed by mountains to thick granite formations carved by sweeping rivers. Her interest in geology, the natural world, growth, and decay led to her interest in a technique called Agateware, where her sculptural and functional wares mimic the striations found in geological strata.
She graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Boise State University in 2016. She was selected for National Association of Schools of Art and Design Commission (NASAD), the recipient of an Alexa Rose grant in 2019 and 2022, and a member of BOSCO.
She works as a ceramicist at sPacePort in Garden City, Idaho.

Welp, we did it! We packed up our entire shop in 2 days - thanks to the help of our amazing Shop Stewards Amanda & Erika and some supportive men friends who brought their muscles and drills!

For the next couple (few?) weeks, we're running Vervain from our laptops and a guesthouse full of boxes. We are make-the-best-of-it kind of gals! We are very hopeful to get into the new space before the end of the month - check our website for ordering info in the mean-time!
