Rainbow Falls is an incredible place to visit on Hawaii’s Big Island. It is located just minutes from downtown Hilo in Wailuka River State Park. The 80-foot waterfall tumbles over a lava cave and is a must-see and very easy for anyone to visit. The native Hawaiian language Rainbow Falls is known as “Waiānuenue,” which translates to “rainbow water.” On clear sunny days, especially in the morning, you can often see a rainbow at the falls.

Had an amazing weekend in Joshua Tree National Park. Here are few photos from the trip.

Spent the day exploring Pinnacles National Park. I have to say this a very cool park! It was our first time there. It gets a small fraction of the visitors of the more famous California parks such as Yosemite or Sequoia. Parking is limited so if you plan on visiting get there early! We saw two California Condors soaring! They were too far away to get a good picture unfortunately. Excited to go back and camp a couple of nights and really explore!

The Falls Loop at Ricketts Glen State Park in Pennsylvania is a bucket list hike. It passes by 21 named waterfalls and is truly a spectacular trail. If you are every near Scranton, this trail is worth your time! Here are a few photos from the last time we did the hike.
