Dry eye syndrome, also known as dry eye disease or keratoconjunctivitis sicca, is a common condition that occurs when tears aren't able to provide adequate lubrication for your eyes.

Meet Dr. Chong! Dr. Chong joined Vision One Boise in 2021 with a special interest in pediatric vision exams. She has experience managing ocular diseases, and she enjoys working with her patients to create solutions for their unique visual problems.

Dr. Chong grew up in Washington state. She graduated from Pacific Lutheran University in Tacoma with a Bachelor of Science in Biology. Dr. Chong then attended graduate school at Pacific University in Oregon, where she graduated with honors and received her Doctorate in Optometry.

After graduation, Dr. Chong practiced optometry in Las Vegas, NV, and the Tri-Cities, WA, before finally moving to Boise. She is a member of the American Optometric Association and the Idaho Optometric Physicians.

In her free time, Dr. Chong loves to crochet, bake, and explore Boise and the surrounding area with her husband and their greyhounds.

Meet the Doctor! 👨‍⚕️ Dr. Fronk has been a part of the Vision One Boise team since 2003, where his special interests include children’s vision, surgical co-management, and specialty contact lenses.

He was born and raised in southern Idaho. After attending high school, he continued his education at Brigham Young University, where he was awarded a Bachelor of Science in Biology. He is a graduate of the University of Missouri-St. Louis School of Optometry.
