I had a client almost lose her life during an emergency cesarean. And just this weekend, a recent client lost her daughter in a car accident. It's my 38th birthday and I'm sitting in the hospital waiting room while my doula client has a cesarean. She has been here for 3 days with pre-eclampsia, and induction techniques just weren't working. My twin sister and I were also born via cesarean.
