Cascade Anglers finishing a day on the Carbarton
Going into fall is a great time to get on the river. They also have a couple great looking guide rafts.

Made a 2pm delivery to Mountain Home yesterday to meet a gentlemen from Idaho Falls. Sprinted back to the shop to hook up to a new Steelhead going to Cle-Elum, Wa for a 6am delivery.

In the dark a handful of folks come up at the diner we were meeting at at as I pulled up at 545 AM. “Is that a new Streamtech they say”? Do you know Derek Young they asked. It was a pleasure to say I did. They go on to tell me how they took a guided trip with him and fell in love with his Salmon Fly and ultimately bought one for themselves. Just had to tell me how much they loved it. To my joy, the new owner was tucked in the back (I assumed he was with them).

I told him that he will need to get used to that. Link Jackson, you built an amazing brand and raft. Derek, thanks for sharing your love of our rafts.

One more stop in Eugene, Oregon and back to Boise.

Somewhere in North Dakota last night.

Sometimes you just have to drive across the country to get a customer a raft. I was already in Denver, so it was only another 8 hrs to Iowa.

We now have a Streamtech in Pennsylvania! Safe travels gents!

And we’re off!

I am retired from Streamtech Boats but I still love them to the core. So many fine days in the life have come my way because of my obsession with building a boat that suited my needs.... and then came to suit the needs of many others. And I do love painting them.

Today I wood burned a Golden Trout on a boat deck for a fine man who also got a Golden Trout paint job on his Streamtech Steelhead boat.

Link hid their wedding date inside the Brown Trout. Handing off the new raft is always my favorite day of the week. Welcome to the ST family.

We both left our homes at 3am this morning to make sure Jeff could hit the Yakima this afternoon.

Green Drake trading places with the new Salmon Fly.

This Green Drake lived a life before Jeff bought it and it will live a life well after. When you start comparing cost of ownership over 30 years, there is just none better.

Today I painted for the man. Scott Pentzer bought Streamtech Boats from me and this will be his personal boat for the year.... or until he decides to sell it. It is a Steelhead. I like it. I want one!
