After having kids and simultaneously running a business, it was time for this client to treat herself, but finding the time to do so was difficult.

Unpopular Opinion
I know! I know!

I’ve been lashing for years and years and over those many years I cannot tell you the different techniques, products, styles, tricks, hacks, tips I’ve tried to always improve on my work and retention.

Lash rings was used for a short period of time, very short until I said Hell NO! I honestly can’t comprehend why as a technician thinking the adhesive we use which are “very high professional grade products” being hovered over your clients head and eye area so worry free.

2nd-ly :

SPILLAGE! On God this is the scariest thing that can happen, spilling any amount of adhesive on your clients. Why run any risk of adhesive coming in contact with tour clients brows, hair, clothes or worse, they’re eyes glue shut.
Countless stories of moments like these happening to technicians with many years and of course “ I’d never thought it would happen to me” type.
Honey when you are playing with fire you’re sure to get burned and this right here is playing with fire.
Will those professional insurances cover you if you cause any damage 🧐

3rd:

Adhesive dries so fast for the amount of drops you’re having to add in these little wells. I see it first hand and technicians using the rings have adhesive drying 2x faster than what I normally use. Adhesive is never fully used which equals to excessive product waste. And if you’re using proper quality adhesive: ITS NOT CHEAP 🥸

Many have tried and many will continue to fail at trying to convince me as to why glue rings are ok to use with lashing. Nope 👎🏽

Step out of your comfort zone and try multiple ways! My favorite is the Plstic well tray that is placed on your lash tile next to your lashes. To allow you to freely moved hands, arms whatever you like as needed without ever worrying spilling adhesive on your client.
