“Her low light color is her natural color. I did teasy lights/ foilage with Wella Blondor Bleach- 10Volume, Shadow Root with Redken shades EQ 7N/8N-equal parts and toned the blonde with 10N/10Gi equal parts and brushed it all together.”

Hi friends! Entering the first week into the new year, I always like to take this time to
reflect on my business to make a clear plan of action for salon life behind the scenes because, that is truly one of the biggest areas of our businesses that I feel we put the least amount of priority into! It’s all of the little things that make a big difference and the sacrifices we make within our businesses that’s equally as important as the beautiful art we create behind the chair!

I have been working BTC for 10 years now, and for 7 of those years I have been a salon suite owner and it was truly one of the best things I decided to do for my business! Back In 2016 suite rental was still pretty “taboo” so when I tell you I had no idea what I was doing I mean it… in the tik tok-less days and when handing out business cards in the Starbucks drive thru line was still the norm, it was scary but looking back I can’t imagine not taking that chance! Heading into 2024, the abundant resources new stylists have coming into suite life is amazing and makes me so excited for our ever evolving industry. Luckily at J Lee Suites they care about your success and can offer many resources to help get your business started! I’m here to say if you have been wanting to make the jump into a suite whether it be sharing with a co stylist, opening your own, or part time leasing from another artist, whatever your path is to get there, take the chance! You will never regret growing your business and becoming your own boss ♥️
