Thanks are hardly enough to our Veteran's who sacrifice in so many ways to protect us.

We had a hummingbird researcher stay with us yesterday! He spotted all my feeders and saw all the hummingbirds and knew it was the place for him to stay! He is a bird ba**er, meaning he catches them and bands them to watch migration patterns, etc. He stopped banding at about 35 because he said he could be at it all day and night with as much as they like my feeders, must be our special hummingbird juice recipe ;) Here are some pics of the 3 varieties we have in this area. www.hummingbirdresearch.net

The Bonners Ferry Eagles, along with the American Legion and help from the Rotary Club of Bonners Ferry will be hosting a benefit breakfast for Kelsey Shutes from 8 to 11 a.m. Sunday, March 16.

FYI: The same huckleberry jam we serve at our breakfasts, is also availible for purchase! We have homemade jams, jellies and sauces. Everything from champagne jelly to huckleberry raspberry fire sauce for meats. Only $5 each. Makes a nice gift for a neighbor, teacher or friends.
