Hey Everyone! I have been a little hermit and been taking an extended Maternity leave since the weather has been so cold and gloomy, but with sunny days ahead I thought it was about time I come out of hibernation. 😂

With the addition of our second baby I have decided to take a step back from returning to photography full time. This was a hard decision to make as I am navigating motherhood and it really just came down to the fact that I want to spend as much time with my babies in these few years before they grow up too fast!

What does this mean? I will be taking on a limited number of photoshoots per month and will be offering seasonal mini sessions with limited availability as well. But with that said I do have a few exciting changes coming along with model calls so stay tuned for those!

Okay okay - I realize I haven't posted since my last post and I am so sorry! We are now T-3 days from my scheduled c-section and the days have been a blur from resting to preparing for baby girl's arrival!

Who else is excited for Lunar New Year this weekend? I am hoping and praying Isla stays inside until the Lunar New Year so she can be year of the rabbit like her mama and dada! 🐰✨

Here is a little in home studio session of the adorable Kim family kiddos in their hanboks!

I will be on Maternity leave until the beginning of March!
Can't wait to get back into the swing of things - I am already itching to shoot again.

I just realized I haven't posted in almost a month! Wow that month flew by fast with what feels like absolutely nothing, but everything happening at the same time! I am sure everyones social calendars are super busy and the holiday hustle and bustle is in full swing.

I am just editing away and still taking on a few clients til the end of the year and then finally going on Maternity Leave! I can't believe I am only 7 weeks out from meeting our baby girl. And we just revealed her name! Isla Rose Song ✨

With things slowing down I promise I will share more of my sessions from the past 2 months and oh do some blog posts too (haha totally forgot about that).

But meanwhile I hope you all stay cozy and warm through the holidays!

I want to start this post by saying the Photography business can be brutal. From marketing, to client care, endless emails, hours upon hours staring at a screen, keeping up to date with social media and seo, etc... - its a lot to navigate.

I have been so fortunate to network and meet some really great photographers, now friends, along the way. Community is everything. And I am always so happy to help out my fellow photog friends.

Oh wow guys! I don't know what was going on with Facebook the last 2 weeks but every time I would try to post it wouldn't let me - glad the bug is fixed!

Little preview of a recent session I did at my old stomping grounds. Fun fact* I used to be a competitive golfer and spent countless hours at this golf course practicing and playing, even worked there during my high school summers! I was lated when my clients chose this location! Such a gem ✨

I'm still here - haven't been active on socials this past month because it has been so busy in both my personal and professional life! From OB appts to photoshoots, and mom'ing and everything else in between, it has been a crazy few weeks!

A few announcements - with this pregnancy getting tougher I will be limiting the number of sessions I take on from October until December when I will be officially on maternity leave. BUT not to worry I will be releasing fall mini's and Christmas tree mini's here in Washington (very limited spots as well)

I am just trying to prioritize myself and this baby/family in this season of life and I hope that you guys understand!

Happy Monday Everyone!

I am so happy to be shooting again here in Washington. In other news I decided I am going to start blogging my sessions because 1. I suck at posting on my instagram and have trouble choosing just 1 photo from a session & 2. It truly shows the entirety of a session. I love the storytelling aspect of a session. It's not always about having the perfect posed photo where everyone is looking forward. I find that the best moments captured are ones that are completely candid and spontaneous.

Hi friends!!!

I know it has been crickets over here and on IG lately...but I am happy to say that I AM BACK!

The last month of moving to Washington and getting settled into our first ever home (that we own) has been quite the challenge ESPECIALLY with your husband returning to work 2 days after moving in and being a full time SAHM 😵‍💫. But with Auggie starting daycare today and life slowly normalizing again, I thought it was time I posted and open my books for my Washington clients!

Here are some sneak peaks from my last session from Kansas, my goodness I am just speechless. This mama IS the light ✨

I have been a hermit, just editing my life away while planning another out of state move in June! It is so crazy how fast time flies when you feel like you've done nothing but also so much! But super excited to be returning to my home state of Washington!

What an absolutely beautiful session of my return clients. It was freezing and windy, and you honestly can't tell from these photos.

*Update* I am starting to work on SUNDAY PM sessions this week from the Cherry Blossom Minis. For my Kansas people - I am almost fully booked before we move!

I can't believe we are already almost in blooming season! With that said I am now confirmed to be in DC March 23-28!
