One of our Cumbre Alta 2011 players is shining on another field! We are so proud of his accomplishment! Way to go, Alex!!! Vamos!!!!!!

Had a chance to visit with Alex “Ice” Espinoza and Logansport’s football team during practice. Before last week, the 8th grader only played travel soccer. However, he showed up to football practice and was 6-for-7 on field goals and 9-for-9 on extra points in the Tigers 63-0 win over Lakeview. Hear his amazing story tonight at 10:00 on KSLA News 12

Our 2010 boys started off with a 2-0 win in the first game in Jackson this past weekend. 💛🖤

Unfortunately, the second game did not go as planned, but the boys rallied back to WIN the third game, securing 3rd place in the JFC Crossroads of the South tournament.

Immediately following the service at Cypress Baptist Church a graveside service will be held at Rose-Neath Cemetery on Swan Lake Rd

The family will accept visitors following the graveside service back at Cypress Baptist Church.

🌟Have you noticed the soccer goals at Betty Virginia Park? You can thank Henry Werner for them! ⚽ As part of his community project to become an Eagle Scout, Henry raised money to install these goals. He started this incredible project in 8th grade, and he's now a freshman at Byrd High School! 🎓

When we asked Henry why he chose this project, he said, "It's hard to find professional soccer goals in Shreveport, and I wanted to help." 💬 And how does it feel when he sees people using the goals he put there? "It makes me feel proud that other people are using something I put there." 🥹 Henry also shared, "I hope that being an Eagle Scout speaks to my character and the man I hope to be in the future." 🌱

We're so thankful for community members like Henry! Thank you for your vision and for helping to make our parks better for everyone. 🙌⚽🏞️
