Last weekend, we had the honor of celebrating our second Mamaleh as she read from the Torah for her Bat Mitzvah.
We are filled with NACHAS for our GOLDA who did an amazing job and is already enriching the community with her positivity, intellect and joy.
We love you, Goldileh, and are so proud of your accomplishments and the person you are growing into.

If there's one thing that we pride ourselves on at Mamaleh's, it's that when we find kind, wonderful people to work with, we do our best to hold on tight for as long as possible.
Dunia Acevedo is a perfect example. Today marks 10 years that she's worked by our sides. She started as one of the most hard working and determined dishwashers at State Park. Over the years, we pulled her over to Mamaleh's, taught her how to make matzah balls, blintzes, latkes and more food that she had never heard of. Pretty soon, she was working all of the stations and teaching new cooks how to do things best. Now, she's the Savory Production Manager at our new commissary kitchen, leading all the prep cooks on making wild amounts of food for our 5 locations.
Dunia has been with us through our pregnancies, her pregnancy, celebrated birthdays and special moments, muddled through the pandemic with us, brought in family members who she's taught to work the line, all with grace, unmatched strength and toughness, generosity, and the most beautiful smile.
She's stuck with us through both good and challenging times, and we are grateful every single day to have her in our lives - from a work standpoint and also personally.
Gracias, Dunia, por todo. Te apreciamos más de lo que podemos expresar con palabras. 💗💗💗
How It’s Made: Rugelach Edition!
The bite-sized treats originated from the Jewish
communities of Poland. The Yiddish meaning of the
word rugelach is “little twists”. Although these pastries
look like croissants, they are closer to a cookie in
texture.
Traditionally, Rugelach are stuffed with a sweet filling
- we make ours with raspberry & walnuts or chocolate.
We’ve also dabbled in savory options! *Try our Spinach-Mushroom Rugelach available on our dinner catering menu!*
We even offer Rugelach at our vegan pop up
FRIDAYS ONLY! A Shabbat must have: Braided Challah! Break bread on Friday evenings at home or use it to make sandwiches all weekend long (pro tip: it's great from French Toast!). Pick one up for yourself while we've got 'em in stock - you don't want to have to wait 'til next week!
We know this summer weather is confusing in October, but we’re pretty sure it will actually get chilly soon 🙃 and you’re gonna want to be prepared!
Come grab one of our NEW crewneck sweatshirts modeled by our wonderful manager Josh!
🥯 Wear a bagel on your heart and a pickle on your sleeve as you show your Mamaleh’s love! 🥒
And yes, we can ship these babies!
Here to remind you that IBBERGERBLIBBERNIS is a word and a great move for Sunday dinner 😂
Keep enjoying that sunshine!
It’s going to be a beautiful, sunny weekend to eat OUTSIDE! ☀️🍁 Join us for a Carrot Lox Sandwich on the Mamaleh’s Kibitz Corner patio.

We’re regrouping today after quite a busy stretch with the High Holidays!

From ordering ingredients, to prepping food, to packing it up, to delivering, and everything in between — we rely on SO many sets of hands to get these orders out the door.
