They say Sleepercell are awesome. Can't wait
Sleepercell is a Boston-based instrumental trio inspired by the ethos of evolved and atmospheric modern metal. With gentle, cloud-like riffs from guitarist Kyle Loffredo and a cataclysmic rhythm section provided by CAZADOR veterans, Jake Quinn (bass) and Cliff Cazeau (drums/percussion), the band's sound takes cues from many precursors of the genre such as Inter Arma, Caspian, and others, while furtively creating something entirely new. Their scope is an exercise in pushing crystal clear, melodic and spacious moments into dark, heavy spaces that will simultaneously soothe the listener while discretely crushing their senses.
As delicate as some of the passages can be, this crew knows how to make some ethereal and intense sounds that will shake your bones. Beautiful yet bloodthirsty, Sleepercell is here and they are coming to take your soul.
Sleepercell play The Mini Fest Friday March 27
Test Meat first got together in December of 2016 to make loud, heavy, catchy rock music. Songs with hooks and weight. Guitarist/vocalist Darryl Shepard is a veteran of the Boston music scene, having played in such bands as Slaughter Shack, Slapshot, Roadsaw, Milligram and many more. Drummer Michael “Nash” Nashawaty is also a Boston rock veteran, having kept time in Planetoid and Slim & the Tank, as well as his other current band Bird Language. As a power duo, Nash and Darryl share a vision of playing heavy rock music with an ear for melody and brute force.

SWS is an event that radiates positivity and helps build confidence and sense of reward for everyone involved. It’s not just about surfing—it’s about enjoying the beach, playing in the water, or staying dry on land and playing beach games. The events are held each summer in North Hampton, NH at The Wall.
Our Mission
Our mission is to enhance the lives of our surfers and volunteers–if only for one day–by creating a positive and fun environment that builds confidence, gives a sense of reward to all participants, and creates life-long friendships.
Become A Volunteer
We love and rely on our volunteers and without them this program wouldn't be successful. You do not need to know how to surf or sign up to volunteer. All are welcome!

Summery indie rock vibes permeate the pop-punk framework in which Mint Green operates. As sunshine and warm weather slowly arrive in Boston, there's no better time to listen to the local quartet. —Mikey Enwright, Sound of Boston

For the group of South Shore punk rockers collectively known as WORM, social consciousness and a working class ethic are the order of the day. Formed in 2003, the group came together to write music and have a good time, paying homage to the old-school punk rock sound of yore while infusing modern elements of metal and grunge.
