The Teachers’ Lounge seeks to drive unprecedented student outcomes by greatly diversifying the people, thoughts, and actions of the educational workforce in the Greater Boston Area and beyond.
We’re thrilled to share the incredible experiences and impact from our recent professional development days that created such a powerful space for growth and connection:
•Over 60 participants joined us across both sessions!
•We had an average 96% satisfaction rate across both PD sessions!
•Participants were inspired by being able to connect with other Black and Brown educators who are passionate about the work.
•The table conversations were safe and healing while small group discussions allowed them to hear fellow educators’ stories and journeys that helped navigate their next steps in education.
•The yoga session was was rejuvenating and served a reminder of the importance of movement in our daily lives.
Thank you to the participants and partners that made the CLOC x TTL PD days impactful and memorable.

Exciting news from TTL’s SZN 6!
Our Classroom Leaders of Color (CLOC) program continues to shine! Fellows gave CLOC programming a 95% overall satisfaction rate in SY23-24!
And that’s not all...
The Teachers’ Lounge’s general programming events were a hit too, with a 94% overall satisfaction rate from attendees!

Pauline has worked for 22 years as a passionate educator compelled to support student achievement. Following extensive cross-sector experience, she began her teaching career in Boston Public Schools in 2008. Dr. Lugira White has an undergraduate degree from Boston College, she completed her leadership preparation as a principal fellow through the Lynch Leadership Academy.
She holds a doctorate in education from the Lynch School of Education at Boston College. As a leadership coach and mentor, she has inspired teachers and administrators across Boston Public Schools to pursue further leadership opportunities.
