#ad #walmartpartner I don’t know about you, but our house is crazy this time of year between all of the school and fall activities so I’m partnering with Walmart+ to share how easy it is to save a little time and money this fall. With Walmart+ I was able to get free same day delivery from our local @walmart ($35 order minimum, restrictions apply, & subject to availability) to stock up on all the ingredients I need to make the quickest, most delicious salad that our family just loves. I was also able to get this Beautiful personal blender that I used to make my maple Dijon vinaigrette shipped for free (excludes most Marketplace items, freight, & certain location surcharges) because with Walmart+ there are no order minimums. Get ready to save time & money…Comment WALMART and I’ll DM you the link to start your 30-day free trial! This adorable jacket has been a best seller in my LTK boutique for the past few weeks and there’s a reason why! It’s got that country cottage vibe and it’s super cute, cozy, and comfortable…perfect for fall. It’s light enough that you can wear it with a thicker cable knit sweater or on a warmer autumn day, just a long sleeve T-shirt like I have on, is all you need. I love this jacket for all of those fun fall activities like apple or pumpkin picking, hayrides, or fall festivals. Grab it while it’s on sale for less than $30! These lampshades just arrived in the mail and I can’t wait to show you which room they’re going in next week! https://rstyle.me/+3nZhl7uGfIYbpS2AVahqDQ
How do I judge if a rug is cozy or not? By rubbing my feet on it of course. I know, sounds gross and no if I’m in a store shopping for a rug I don’t rub my feet on it (but I will rub my hands on it lol). When these new Hearth & Hand runner rugs arrived in the mail last week, I wasn’t entirely sure I was going to love them. I thought they might be a little rough and hard from the jute material but I was wrong! They are soft, warm, cozy, and they passed the foot rubbing test. And if I’m being really honest, It feels good to finally have rugs in the kitchen that we love again. The rugs we previously had (which I won’t say who they were from) drove both me and Mr. ERH nuts for years. I’m not sure why it took us so long to replace the rugs we hated. I think we were both waiting for the other one to cave and just toss them out the window one day. Well, guess who ended up caving first?!Comment SHOP below to receive a DM with the link to shop this post on my LTK ⬇ https://liketk.it/4M9RmThe coziest kitchen rug from Hearth & Hand by Magnolia. #ltkvideo #ltkhome #eleanorrosehome #homesweethome #cozyhome #kitchendecor #targetstyle #farmhousestyle #cottagestyle #hearthandhand
A lemonade bar is a great idea to try this summer whether you have a cookout coming up or just want to surprise the family with a treat on a hot day. I know my family enjoyed this impromptu set up! It’s easy to put together and a fun way to elevate an iconic summer drink. All you need are a few beautiful serving pieces (I personally love these @mackenziechilds Sterling Check & Flower Market pieces), homemade or store bought lemonade, flavored syrups to create different lemonade variations, and fresh fruit for garnishing. Think peach lemonade, strawberry lemonade, or raspberry lemonade…yum!!! Is your mouth watering yet, because mine is! Comment LEMONADEBAR and I’ll DM you everything you need to know about creating your own lemonade bar and links to the @mackenziechilds products I used (They’re all up to 60% off right now!).#eleanorrosehome #homesweethome #diy #lemonade #farmousestyle #cottagestyle #cozyhome #entertainingathome
Ever since seeing fall decor in Michael’s a couple of weeks ago, I haven’t been able to get those fall decorations out of my mind! So, when we had a rainy Saturday over the weekend I started playing around with the decor on our kitchen hutch to give it, it’s first fall look of 2024. I know, it’s early. It’s 100 degrees outside and I shouldn’t even be thinking of fall. The months go by fast enough on their own, I don’t need to be rushing the summer season. However, one of my favorite things to do is to be inspired and then start planning how I’m going to seasonally decorate this or that. In fact, I think I might enjoy the planning in my mind more than the actual act of decorating! I don’t think the hutch looks too fallish, do you??? I basically just moved around what was already there and just added a few tarnished silver pieces, amber glass bottles, a little more greenery, and an apple scented candle (fall scented on a rainy summer day…the ultimate in coziness) to give it more of a warmer look. I’ve been asked for a while now to share how I tie ribbon into bows, so I thought it was about time to share my secret formula that in all honesty, is embarrassingly easy and not very secretive. Ready for the big revelation?! I tie the ribbon in our house just like I would a shoelace. Yup, that’s it! I see fancy bow tying techniques all the time and while I wish I had one of those, I don’t. (If you know me, you know simple & easy is key to the decor in our home!) I love a floppy and somewhat messy bow. It feels cozy and looks so pretty to me. Here are some things I do when I’m making bows to get that cozy, relaxed look:- I don’t use wired ribbon. Ribbon without wire is easier to work with (in my opinion) and isn’t as stiff which means that floppy look is easier to achieve.- I do use cotton or satin ribbon. Those fabrics are easy to manipulate any way you want. - I make the “ears” of the bow really large. This way they flop down for that messy look. - I don’t worry about the ribbon being even when tying a bow. I like one side of the tail to be longer than the other. Again, for that relaxed feeling. - I do make sure the ribbon I’m working with is wrinkle free. If it does have wrinkles I use a hair straightener to iron it. A straightener is so much easier to work with than an iron!- I always finish the ends of my ribbon my cutting an inverted “V”. My mom always did this and so it’s something I learned to do as well. It adds a nice finish to the bow.Make sure to save this post to refer to these tips later!Comment BOW15 and I’ll DM you the links to the summer ribbon I used to create the new ribbon garland in this reel.#eleanorrosehome #diyhomedecor #diycrafts #homesweethome #cozyhome #homedecor #cottagestyle #farmhousestyle #ribbonbows

While I typically leave the door to our son’s room shut when taking photos or videos, the other day I thought, why not show the reality of our home and a little behind the scenes. So, here’s a look at a room you’ve never seen before! And let me tell you, this view of his room is not an exaggeration of his messiness! In fact, this is actually a cleaner version of how his room typically looks. I walked into his room this afternoon and there was a bar of deodorant with melted ice cream on it…like how does that happen???? Why???!!!! Please tell me this isn’t just my son who doesn’t seem to mind living like this. Our daughter was never this messy, and the daily fights over clean your room are getting ridiculous. #eleanorrosehome #homesweethome #cozyhome #homedecor #cottagestyle #farmhousestyle #aesthetic
Friends local to southeastern Massachusetts! I found the most adorable florist & home decor shop right around the corner from our home that before today, I didn’t even know existed! Raise your hand if you still have a Christmas wreath on your front door! I’m embarrassed to admit that I literally just removed ours today. Yup, home decor blogger here who is slacking on outdoor decor, big time. But, with Memorial Day just a couple of weeks away, I thought it might be time to sprinkle a little patriotic decor around the house so I started with the front door and put away the last Christmas decoration…finally. Now, I don’t necessarily like to buy a “patriotic” wreath. First, because it’s cheaper to use the same wreath over and over again and secondly, I’ve got nowhere to store it. What I like to do instead, is to take a normal everyday green wreath and update it slightly with a seasonal ribbon. This way, I can use the same wreath for multiple seasons saving me space and money. The ribbon I used on the wreath is actually wired but I cut the wire out to make the ribbon more flexible and floppy. I think floppy bows are so much cozier than a stiff, wired one. So…save your money and don’t buy a store-bought patriotic wreath…create your own with just a little ribbon! Comment PATRIOTIC and I’ll send you the link to the wreath and ribbon I used. #eleanorrosehome #homedecor #seasonaldecor #homesweethome #cozyhome #countryhome #mycountryhome #farmhousestyle #cottagestyle
