Countdown to Kindergarten

BPS Sunday Museum Pass

We are excited to announce that the City of Boston, BPS, and our partner institutions will be extending the BPS Sunday pass pilot program through the end of 2024. This means that on the first and second Sunday of each month from September 2024 to December 2024, the amazing cultural institutions listed below will continue to be free of charge for BPS students and up to three family members!

The Boston Children’s Museum

The Institute of Contemporary Art

The Museum of Fine Arts

Museum of Science

The New England Aquarium

The Franklin Park Zoo

Please check each institution’s website for directions and hours. We are sending BPS pass emails to all BPS students. To gain entry, a student can (1) print out the BPS Sundays email and turn it in; or (2) show the email on a mobile device.

Tomorrow 9/9 is the first day of school for BPS Kindergarteners. Incoming students can wear their yellow “Im going to Kindergarten”t-shirt for the first day.

All kindergarteners and their families are invited to enjoy free admission, snacks, activities and more!

Come join us at the beautiful Schoolmaster Hill in Franklin Park, Boston for the Nurturing Narratives Event. The event's theme emphasizes the power of storytelling and connection. Moms can share their breastfeeding journeys, listen to each other's experiences, and build a sense of community and solidarity. Using self-care practices like meditation, sound therapy, and journaling to help moms thrive in their breastfeeding journeys and beyond.
Refreshments will be provided.

What a special day! Sending so much love to these guys as Wyatt is off to college. Kacy is the C2K program manager and we know how much she has done to get to this day. What an amazing mom she is!
