A hot summer day in June calls for some delicious soft serve 🍦 from in Brookline, NH. I got the strawberry soft serve in a waffle bowl and my husband got the maple flavor with a chocolate dip. Mhmm delish!

Was in Pittsburgh last weekend and you absolutely cannot go to Pittsburgh without stopping at Primanti Bros and getting one of their famous sandwiches! ‘The classic sandwich includes two slices of Italian bread, grilled meat of choice [I got pastrami], melted provolone, vinegar-based coleslaw, sliced tomatoes, and, of course, french fries.’ 🍟🥪

This week on my cooking channel I made a delicious Shaved Brussels Sprouts Salad with a homemade lemon shallot dressing. If you haven’t tried this salad, I highly encourage you to do so. A few years ago (📆September 14, 2022) we went to this Mexican restaurant in Devens, MA called Bandoleros and ordered their nachos as an appetizer. Let me tell you, these were the most creative and unique nachos I’ve ever had in my life! Where you see each jalapeño slice is an individual nacho stack with a tortilla chip on the bottom and all your traditional nacho toppings layered on top. I’m used to nachos being served as a large spread of chips with all the toppings on top but to serve essentially nacho stacks was really neat!

This photo honestly does not do justice! At Duck Donuts, the donuts are made fresh to order and come out warm, pillowy and super light! Then the donuts are topped in an awesome combination of icings and toppings and finished with a dusting of powdered sugar. If you haven’t tried Duck Donuts, this is a sign - you HAVE to try them!

Which brewery has the best food? That’s such a hard question for me to answer as I’ve been to quite a few breweries over the years and tried a whole bunch of amazing food at so many different places. Last spring (📆 April 14, 2023) when on a trip in Pennsylvania we visited Tröegs and got this delicious Caesar salad with lots of grated parmesan and whole anchovies! I’ve never had a Caesar salad like this but it was really good!
