Nick Battaglia, a recent Xi-Beta graduate will be running in this years Boston Marathon for the Mass General Emergency Response Marathon Team!
Nick is running on behalf of Mass General as a tribute to their courageous acts following the tragic Boston Marathon bombing, and their above and beyond service to the Boston community. The Emergency Response Team has raised over 2.3 million dollars in six years for emergency medical personnel, funding equipment necessary to prepare for disaster. We had a great event this past weekend, the first-ever Northeastern Fall Classic hockey game between us and Sigma Phi Epsilon. Tons of people showed out and the atmosphere was electric. Together we crushed our donation goal and raised over $2,500 for the Hurricane Dorian relief effort in the Bahamas! We would like to thank SigEp for hosting this great event with us and everyone who came out to support this great cause. Here are a few photos from the event!

Thank you to everyone who came out and supported our Military Heroes 5k yesterday! We had a very good turnout and our fundraising efforts totaled $11,444! This is 114% of our goal and well over 200% of what we have raised for this event in past years. We are looking forward to increasing our goal next year!

This Sunday June 12th, 2018, Eversource will partner with Boston Children’s hospital and hold a philanthropic walk to benefit the Every Child Fund. This fund aims to better the quality of care provided to sick children at Boston Children’s via means of improved care, celebrations, play and therapeutic animals. Every penny donated goes straight to the fund and to improving the childhoods of countless sick, young individuals. At the relay we will be honoring the lives lost to cancer, celebrating the survivors, and supporting the caregivers for all that they do.

This past weekend, brothers and pledges cheered on the many Massachusetts Fire departments an individuals on their 41-floor climb in the American Lung Association’s annual event, the Fight for Air Climb.
Xi-Beta volunteered with the ALA in order to raise money for families affected by lung cancer.
Brothers and sisters of Kappa Kappa Gamma came together today to create cards for Community Servings Clients!
Over 400 cards were made to be distributed to patients across Massachusetts.
