Ohhh Georgey. I can't believe it's been 17 years since you left us. I think of you (and Momma) everyday - whether it be a person that reminds me of you, a song on the radio, a certain scent or of course when I come across a dime that you leave me. I truly believe in my heart that they are all signs from you both - that even though I can't see you, you are still here with me. Being parentless all these years has been hard. There's an emptiness. You feel a little lost at times and sometimes you just want your Mom and/or Dad. Those reminders from you are so important to me. They make my day. Always.

As I sit here and watch the Masters which I’m sure you are as well, a red cardinal landed on one of the trees outside my window. It’s been a few days. Sometimes there are two that I see weekly on the same tree. I swear they’re (you’re?) looking at me and so I wave like a lunatic. Ahahaa. Again, thank you for the reminder that you’re very much here with me.❤️

I love you. And I look forward to seeing your face again one day …
