At today's National Association of Community Health Centers CHI and Expo 2024 session, 'Riding the Rollercoaster of Private Funding Supporting Health Centers,' industry leaders gathered to discuss the critical role private philanthropy and investments can play in the future of health centers. The session addressed how health centers are navigating the challenges of Medicaid unwinding, disruptions from the retail sector, and the growing need for new infrastructures to attract additional donations and revenue streams.

Our CEO, Becky Regan, contributed valuable insights alongside Shade Cronan, SVP of Development and External Affairs at the Massachusetts League of Community Health Centers, and Jason Patnosh, Associate VP, Partnership, Development, and Innovation at NACHC.

Becky highlighted how Capital Link and Capital Fund can play a pivotal role in capital campaigns, helping health centers secure essential private funding and build sustainable futures. We’re proud of the expertise Becky brought to this important discussion.

Beyond installing microgrids, we’re committed to providing the training and economic opportunities necessary to ensure the long-term sustainability of these climate and cost-saving initiatives.

The latest report from Build Healthy Places Network highlights these crucial cross-sector collaborations, showcasing how federal investments are being leveraged to combat climate change and enhance public health. We’re honored to have our perspective included in this vital conversation.

In the words of our CEO, Becky Regan, “We’re making sure we’re not just doing our thing and then leaving. We’re developing the social fabric and the infrastructure.”

We're excited to celebrate National Association of Community Health Centers and Health Center Advocacy Network's National Health Center Week: Healthcare for People Experiencing Homelessness Day by introducing our newest service, Mobile Health!

🚐 What is Mobile Health?

Capital Link's Mobile Health advisory services bring essential healthcare directly to vulnerable communities, including those experiencing homelessness. Our services help FQHCs build and implement successful mobile health units, offering primary care, dental services, vision, mammograms, and more.

🏥 Why Mobile Health Matters:

Mobile units can serve as standalone clinics, making healthcare more accessible. However, maximizing their potential can be challenging.

How We Help:

🤝 Design & Build: Collaborate with health centers to design and build or rehabilitate mobile units.

🤝 Building Partnerships: Guide health centers in forming community partnerships to enhance impact.

🤝 Strategic Development: Develop strategies to best utilize mobile health units.

🤝 Staffing Models: Support in creating effective staffing models for mobile health programs.

🤝 Comprehensive Guidance: Provide end-to-end support for establishing and operating mobile health units.

Together, let's make healthcare accessible for all, especially our most vulnerable populations.

Community Health Centers’ New Crisis: The Need for Backup Power 07/09/2024

As Hurricane Beryl makes landfall in Texas, leaving millions without power, health centers are under increasing pressure to prevent outages and keep the lights on. With climate-related disasters becoming more frequent, it's not a question of if the power will go out, but when. These outages disrupt care and can cost health centers hundreds of thousands of dollars in lost supplies and revenue.

At Capital Link, we are committed to ensuring that essential care continues uninterrupted, regardless of the circumstances. In collaboration with CHARGE and Wells Fargo, we are equipping health centers with solar energy solutions to prevent power outages and maintain community health and safety.
