Goal 1-to provide high quality youth services and programs to empower youth that will enable them to live successful lives and be contributing and resourceful members of society. Goal 2- direct services to youth whose lifestyles have put them in high-risk situations and their needs are inadequately met. Goal 3- be a well-managed and dependable organization that offers culturally competent services to meet the needs and interests of targeted youth.

Boston Asian YES is seeking to hire a highly motivated individual to fill its Youth Worker position. The Youth Worker will coordinate and deliver youth services and programs to linguistic minority Asian youth, ages 13 – 22.
Boston Asian: Youth Essential Service (YES) is a non-profit agency established in 1975, and located in Boston’s Chinatown community. Our mission is to inspire Asian youth to discover and actualize their greatest potential. YES programs are developed to meet the needs of our youth. The quality services we provide enable and empower youth to pursue their goals and be resourceful members of society. We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic person with skills and desire to support youth to achieve their potential.
Key Responsibilities include:
• Outreach and recruitment of youth for program participation
• Coordinate and implement youth development programs, services, and activities
• Engage youth in programs and activities to support their personal and social development, success in school, readiness for college and career pathways, health and wellness learning and lifestyles, volunteer opportunities and community leadership
• Work with schools, colleges, art and cultural institutions, local businesses and employers, health institutions, and others to increase resources and opportunities for participants.
The position is full-time with employee benefits, and opportunity for professional development.
Applicant Qualifications include:
Minimum - High School Diploma/GED Certificate
Fluency in English, Chinese and/or Vietnamese, preferred but not required
