DJ Spinelli & Assoc. is a professional Disc Jockey service based in Boston, Massachusetts. We've been in business for over 20 years providing entertainment for the Greater Boston area, all of New England and Worldwide (destination weddings).

We're made up of experienced, skilled and equipped entertainers that have performed at all types of events at just about every major hotel, nightclub, banquet and function facility around.

Our experience with people has brought us a long way over the years. We know what to say and what to play. We know that most people don't want a DJ that never stops talking or never talks at all. Our DJs say just enough to keep you and your guests informed and entertained throughout the entire event without going overboard.

As far as the music goes, we've got all the hits - and then some. It's obvious that music is one of the most important aspects of your party, that's why keeping the dance floor alive is what we strive for the most. If it means playing a set of top 40 music for the young people, some disco/dance or rock/alternative music for the middle aged people, or a few waltzes/slow songs for the older folks, so be it. Knowing what music to play and when to play it is what we do best to keep you and your guests happy.

Understandably, searching for the perfect DJ for your event can be strenuous. You may find yourself asking many questions, such as: Will the DJ be on time? Will the DJ be dressed for the occasion? Will the DJ have a variety of music for my guests because they are from the ages 4 to 94? Will the DJ be friendly and polite to my guests? Will the DJ be a lively human and not a preprogrammed robot? Will I be charged a reasonable price so I won't have to withdraw from my 401k to pay for this?

With many, many years of experience under our belt, we know that setting the proper mood of an event is very important to its final outcome. All our Disc Jockeys are natural entertainers. Energy is our middle name. We are totally involved in the fun - dancing, smiling and moving at all times.

Our Professionalism:

All the Disc Jockeys at DJ Spinelli & Assoc. are clean, neat and well-mannered professionals. Our entertainers come appropriately dressed to every event, including full tuxedos when specified. We're Always On The Job:

Unlike a band, we don't require breaks. We play straight through the entire function, so that the momentum never dies.

Corporate Events:

As with weddings, we specialize in corporate events, i.e. Holiday parties, outings, cruises, clambakes, etc. We can assist you with raffle ticket/prize give-aways, contests, trivia, lights, uplighting, projectors/screens, wireless microphones, microphone stands, additional sound equipment or anything else that will make your event unforgettable. We can deal with any size company because we are as serious as you are. We will exceed your expectations.

Children's Events:

Having a party for children or having a large number of children at your party? Don't fret. Just let us know. We'll entertain them with music, dancing, hula hoop/limbo contests, freeze/line dances, musical chairs and all other sorts of fun things throughout the entire event. We can relate well to teens and young adults as well. We'll watch the kids for you!

DJs:

Regardless of what music, gender, race, nationality, religion, theme or age group the event will be geared towards, we have a Disc Jockey for it. This is what makes us unique. Aside from offering DJs for your private (or public) party, we also offer DJs for Nightclubs, Bars, Restaurants and Lounges.
These DJs:

• Are available for any night of the week
• Know how to mix and keep a dancefloor alive
• Subscribe to multiple remix services and/or belongs to a record pool
• Have every type of music imaginable
• Live in the Greater Boston area or elsewhere in New England
• Are in their mid-20s to mid-40s
• Have at least 5 years experience spinning in nightclubs (most with 10 or more)

Music & Sound:

We provide music from the 1930s through the Top 40 of today. We have the latest hits, yet we excel in playing all your favorite contemporaries. With thousands of song titles at our disposal, the variety of music is endless. We will play anything you want to hear. Keep in mind too, we use clean radio edits at every event (unless otherwise specified).

Even though all our music is digital, we have CD and cassette capabilities with all our sound systems.

The sound at your party is very important, that's why our systems are regularly serviced and always in best condition. Our sound systems can handle groups as small as fifty or as large as two thousand. Backup systems are available at a moment's notice if the need arises.

Free Equipment Set Up & Break Down:

DJ Spinelli & Assoc. does not charge you for any equipment set up or break down time. It may take over an hour to set up or break down the show (this cost is incurred by us).

Free Consultation:

As far as weddings are concerned, the bride and groom should meet with the Disc Jockey in person before they consider hiring him/her. They should talk in a comfortable, relaxed setting and really have a good feel for just who the DJ is.

Pricing & Availability:

Since every wedding or party/function/event is different, prices vary. Simply call us and tell us the date of your wedding or party/function/event, where it is (City/Town, State) and how many hours it is. We will gladly quote you a price based on this information.

If you decide you need us to stay an extra half hour/full hour, an additional charge for that time would apply. The charge for this time would depend on the overall price of your wedding or party/function/event. Lighting, additional equipment, props and other requested items are extra as well.

There are no hidden charges. The price we quote you is the price we will honor. Availability depends on how many of our Disc Jockeys/Associates are available for that date.

Having an Asian/Chinese wedding? DJ Steve Spinelli himself has performed at over 100 Asian American weddings over the years in Boston, the suburbs and other places throughout New England.

Being completely familiarized with these types of weddings has given Steve a reputation as one of the most preferred DJs for Asian American weddings in the area. In Chinatown alone, he has performed numerous times at such popular places like Empire Garden, Hei La Moon, Chau Chow City & China Pearl as well as Jin Asian Cuisine in Saugus.
