Our beautiful building has been standing for almost 240 years

Warren Tavern, founded in 1780 in Charlestown, is the oldest tavern in Massachusetts, with past tavern guests that include Benjamin Franklin, Paul Revere, and George Washington.

Come say hello to the A-1 BPD Officers who protect our community. They will be on hand to answer questions and listen to concerns. Coffee and snacks will be served.

Today, we raise our glasses to honor the brave souls who fought for our independence in the historic Battle of Bunker Hill. Their courage and sacrifice paved the way for the birth of our nation and we will forever be grateful.
Let us remember the fearless leader and and our namesake, General Joseph Warren, who made the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom. He, along with countless others, stood up against tyranny and fought for what they believed in. Their bravery and determination continue to inspire us to this day. So let’s take a moment to reflect on the significance of this day and raise a toast to all those who fought for our liberty. Let’s proudly declare, “Huzzah!” in honor of these brave patriots.

Happy 283rd Birthday General Joseph Warren! Join us, along with the Charlestown Militia tonight at 6:30 PM for a toast in memory of our namesake General Warren.
