With back to school season nearing, it’s the perfect time to reinforce your Spanish vocab with your little ones. Between getting back in the classroom and so many fun fall activities, there is plenty of different vocabulary words to keep in mind as you are communicating with your child. Continuous repetition and reinforcement is key with raising bilingual children, so the more you practice at home after school and on the weekends, the stronger your child will be able to communicate in both Spanish and English words.

Changes are a big deal to little ones, whether they are a toddler heading away from their parents for the first time, a preschooler starting preschool or a Pre-K child switching to a new school. Kids are comfortable in routines and find security with expectations and repetitive schedules. That means, September can be overwhelming for children and their families as they embark on a new experience, starting at Pine Village.

For us at Pine Village, we’ve seen ways that parents can help transition their little ones and help them feel comfortable starting school, so they are set up for success in the fall. This is the perfect week to visit the zoo!! There are several fun and unique zoos around the Boston area and greater New England if you want to drive a bit further. It's the perfect place to practice your Spanish vocab!

Happy Monday!! Today we are looking at our BROOKLINE school!! Led by Director, Cherina Contreras, this school opened in 2018 inside St. Paul’s Church right between Brookline Village and the Longwood Medical area. We designed this school to be bright and sunny featuring four small classrooms serving toddlers, preschoolers and PreK children.
